You're the ONLY review I've seen that helped me figure out that bloody red-dot battery compartment. It was the single bit I absolutely hated on mine. Thank you too much!!
I bought one a few months ago to replay all those stargate mission, absolutely love the gun. If you get one buy a second or third magazine, its nice to slap a new magazine into place(not too often tho), plus after awhile the magazine can be hard to load nothings a drop of spray oil or light grease cant fix. Running the P90 as the main with Robocops M93R Auto 9C as a side for when the goa'uld ship turns into the streets of detroit. I actually got to shoot a PS90 in the states and honestly this is an excellent replica.
So glad there's an up to date review of one of these! I was thinking about getting the 7.4 lipo rather than a nihm. I want the Tokyo Marui integrated red dot p90, and two websites both recommend a lipo and a nihm, but I think I'm going to play it safe with the lipo and not get a high voltage because I don't want to wreck the stock gearbox. So you said about the 7.v lipo, would the gun perform ok with this with no setbacks or dangers of damaging it? Great video mate, thank you!
@@DTWAIRSOFT C rating is combination of capacity and rated amperage. If you use, for example, 1200mAh 20C cell it means that your cell can reliably output only 24A, your motor ALWAYS tries to pull the amperage it needs. If you have a motor that pulls 30-50A (most stock ones are at that range) on semi-auto it means that you're stressing a cell A LOT more that it's supposed to be stressed and that drops it's voltage A LOT! That's why lower C rated cell gives you "weaker" feeling. It's not the Amps that are dropping, it's the Volts! You're stressing the cell to the point that it heats up and starts to create small shorts inside making it puff up. It's ALWAYS smarter to get as high C rating as possible due to them lasting much longer. 1200mAh 40C cell can output 48A continuous meaning it won't be as stressed as 20C one and will last MUCH longer! If you're going for lower C rating just to "save your replica" you're just killing your battery cells... I'll try to simplify it even more... Reason why your 1200mAh 20C cell feels weaker is because your voltage drops from (as example) 7.4V to bellow 6V while your 1200mAh 40C cell drops from 7.4V to just 7.0V. Motor pulls 40A and one drops a lot more than the other so you feel like it's "weaker" but it's actually the cell suffering and outputing lower voltage. Long story short ALWAYS buy higher C cells. They will last longer, discharge slower due to less stress put on the cells and wont puff up if you're not pulling more amps out of it that it can reliably give.
A 7.4V Titan li-ion, while expensive, does a really good job in mine. I have the Cybergun model, but I still get good rof with a decent level of range.
Well I swapped the hard spring with the soft. The gun ain't the same anymore. It's a pitty. Due to the short barrel, the bbs have not much output after airtime. They drop really quick. So only good for indoor play imo.
got this today, and the red dot sight is giving me problems, since it is not calibrated correctly, the dot is in the upper left corner. It is mentioned in the video that the sight was good after some calibration. How did you calibrate the red dot sight, is there any screws on the underside of the sight that you can use to adjust windage and elevation? I tried detaching it to get at the underside of it, but one of the screws holding it in place was apparently made of soft cheese and not metal, so the the head is more or less destroyed and the screw wont come out now.
There are adjustments on the side to move the unit around. The dot should be in the center at all times not where you said it is. Sounds like something wasn't installed correctly in the factory
anyone know any replacements for the two small screws on the button to release up upper receiver and the spring that is on the barrel (to connect the "chamber" to the charging handle springs)? they flung to all hell during assembly, and now i cant put my gun back together. please let me know i cant find any replacements.
@@DTWAIRSOFT I found that mine is like yours with the “quick change” spring guide and I didn’t have to dissemble the entire gearbox. I popped the spring guide out and changed out the spring then reinserted the spring guide. If I didn’t have the “quick change” spring guide, your video made it pretty clear how to disassemble the gearbox and change the spring (which is why I decided to tackle it myself). Thank you!
Out of the box the TM performs better for distance and accuracy but I find the Cybergun easier to work on and upgrade, but that's just personal preference
At least we don't have to have them bright yellow like they do in Portugal. It's the camera making the red dot larger, I tried my best but just couldn't make the dot any smaller when filming
Tbh this is the one of the best airsolf SMG in my book

7.4v lipo will be fine as long as you don't get one that has a high discharge rate. 20c is the max you would want for this
@@DTWAIRSOFT interesting! I think the ones I've seen are all 25 annoyingly :(

Really good gun good for the money
I’ve always loved the built on red dot rather than just the rail, how ever I don’t know where to get the red dot.
Is this a good value first airsoft weapon buy?
THANK YOU!!!! finely a video that shows were the hop up is!😍
You are very welcome

Just got mine in yesterday, fantastic pdw
Yea, I do love a P90
Hey I just bought this gun but my Acetech with 14mm ccw won't fit. It just slides over top. Any suggestions on a good tracer for it?
A little late but I had the same problem, how i fixed it was to wrap enough electrical tape on the thread in order for the tracer to fit snuggly
Nice video! Can I take off the red dot sight from the gun?
Apparently you can un screw it but I have not tried
Thanks!
Hi i was wondering if you would have any problem using the red dot sight when playing airsoft please answer asap
No I can't see any problems using the red dot in a game.
I have one of these and was wondering if there is any way to attach an m-lok mount to it. Or will I need to get a different mount?
I was think about getting this, but that Built In Red Dot it what I'm worried about most. How Well does it work for you?
It worked well for me once its been adjusted. But don't expect eotech quality from it
@@DTWAIRSOFT thanks, I was asking how well the Red Dot Works.
It works. After setting the windage and elevation it didn't seem to move and was on point for me

Is the red dot on the gun good?
Can somebody tell of the brightness of the Reddot at daytime? my only criticism point right now

Is the red dot replaceable?
No it's fixed to the metal frame work of the gun
So abs plastic ? Not polymer for this brand I presume ?
It's pretty much the same as the real gun (I have one to compare) it ain't too bad.
Is this spring change the same with the other cybergun p90? Mine didn’t come with a battery or extra spring. I’m thinking of changing to a m90.
Not all of them come with quick change springs sadly. different models come with different things.

on a scale from 1 to 10, how would you rate the implemented red dot?
A solid 8, the dot is bright, crisp, and does the job
Do you remember the film the worlds not enough (1999)
How have I only just seen this comment! Yes I love the older Bond films
So which one is better, this or the Tokyo Marui, which this is based on?

What about the mag feeding i heard these are tempermental and require a decently branded mags but even those cwnt be max full

3:11 so I should use an airsoft p90 without the orange tip so that it would appear ‘real’.... 🤔
I'm in the UK so we don't have orange tips on our airsoft guns
Do any P90 mags fit this or is it certain mags?
I think cyma mags feed OK in this but don't get hi caps. They don't always feed
