Im coming to Port Isaac this May from 9 to 15 2022 and its going to be wonderful and they are to be filming there for the final season 10 then I hope to get to see it and Im staying at the Slipaway and its going to be awesome!! Hope to hear a response from you on this comment???

They will make wonderful gifts for others or yourself! 6 books in the series. Best series that I've ever read!
All but one of the scenes we were there for were, indeed, filmed in Port Isaac. There was also a scene filmed at the Castle Hotel in Tintagel. We were at that one. Otherwise, they have a set at a farm just outside of Port Isaac, as well as random locations around Cornwall. A couple of scenes were filmed in London.
Incredible footage, so many people work behind the scenes on that show, to produce the best television I have ever watched. I am so going to miss the series when it finishes next year. Thank you for an amazing video.
Great job, this is so cute, actors are so great, it might go multi national by now, every village has a doctor's job and every countryside doctor might have a very funny job to do, think about it, most of the times humour and sarcasm are the best cure of any kind of health problem fans think about it Ok?

We were able to see quite a lot of filming in the two weeks we were there. It's really fascinating to watch. Can't wait to see what they do with series 8. In regard to the books ... the book series takes off where series six ended, but it goes in a different direction. One hundred and eighty-nine books have sold in the first month, so I'm pleased. I would like to see people outside the Doc Martin Facebook community discover them, though. Not sure how to go about marketing. Harriet Laurie, the founder/CEO of TheHorseCourse emailed me yesterday and included a description of the work they do with children. I posted it on the Doc Martin Battling Demons group and it's generated a lot of interest. I think this could take off if I could figure out the marketing angle. People really get hooked on the books once they start reading. Let me know what you think if you check the books out. The feedback I get has helped me in a number of ways.
