You guys should be on TV. Great photography, friendly & informative, looking forward to my first visit. Thanks.
Aww thanks mate! Wishing you a wonderful visit 🥰
So easy to watch and the production/editing is spot on. I think your popularity is going to increase quickly. Port Isaac is one of our favourite places along with most of the North coast of Cornwall and many places on the North coast of Devon too. Lynton & Lynmouth being somewhere we visit often.
Dan 🥰🙏🏼❤️ that’s such a lovely comment to read 🤩 so happy to bring those lovely holiday memories back for you!
Well done team. That was a lovely documentary…🍰☕️
Everybody goes on about Doc Martin, but imo Port Isaac is much more important as the home of the Fishermen’s Friends.
We watched the film recently and loved it 😍 great story!
@@cjexplores But in the film, it wasn’t the real Fishermens Friends. Try to get to one of their gigs. They are extremely good.
@@davidbrown5185 we will try! Thanks for the tip 😁
Sadly they’ve stopped performing the charity gigs in Port Isaac due the sheer number of people turning up. They were amazing.
@@davidbrown5185 A couple of the genuine Fishermen's Friends were used in the movie as extras.....
I remember watching doc Martin when I was 9 or 10! I can picture those locations really well😊
Oh amazing!! 😂 neither of us are big fans but it was so popular!
i love port isaac ! i’ve been going since i was born every may with my family but my grandparents have been going since they were 20! it’s such an amazing place
Wow! Your family must have a holiday home there??
@@cjexplores they don’t actually ! it was in the works but my grandparents decided to just keep renting out 2 houses near each other for all 13 of us and they chose different places every year because they want us to experience “all the magic” of living all across the town in their words ! (once i make enough i definitely want to get a place down there though it’s too beautiful to not!)
Lovely video, i've been to lots of these areas in the UK that don't seem to want to open or make any money by serving food all day like normal businesses. Must be something different down there 😁 Nice to see these places again, I went post-lockdown when solo travel had only just been allowed so I essentially had it all to myself!
Thanks dude, yes it is a bit of a trend that few places are starting to differ from. Sounds like you had a very unique experience 😊
How in this episode its find the whole places have see similar to western country look amazing both of you are very strenght and bodies energy good can walk powerfully great sincerely to you .
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment ❤️🙏🏼 wishing you all the best 🙌🏼
I've visited Port Isaac several times, even before it became famous. It's a wonderful place. It is also famous for being the location for the Fisherman's Friends movie.....
Correct!! 👍🏼
Oh my gosh amazing. Weve been visiting Port Isaac for almost 20 years and youve caputured it perfectly 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Awww 🥰 Dawn, you are too kind!! Hope you had a nice drive home today. You had beautiful driving weather 😉 ❤️
Im going there in a few days
Awesome! Have a wonderful time ❤️
Cheers guys! Love it. I started following you when you visited my home town Perth West Australia, I love your tour guides…..plus I love Doc Martin, so really enjoyed this.
Awww 🥰 nice one Liz 🙏🏼❤️ glad to have you on board! Anywhere else you’d like us to visit?? 😁
@@cjexplores wellllll since you’ve asked……Easter Island? Have you done that island? Or if you need one closer to home, I’d love a tour through Queen Vics house on the Isle of Wight….👍🏽
@@lizdoherty5767 🤣 Easter Island?! 🗿 That may be a little far off for us for now…. But Isle of Wight is definitely an option! We will squeeze it in at some point over the next 6-12 months. We have a big Europe trip coming up and then after that we will be back in the UK looking for more adventures! 😁 thanks for the request 🙏🏼
@@cjexplores thanks so much! Enjoy Europe!
Amazing, must visit cornwall, Port Isaac
It’s one of the special places that’s for sure ❤️😁
I went there in May and can't wait to get back!
We are heading back to Cornwall next week 😍😍😍 such a beautiful place ❤️
Wow Charlotte and Corri loving this new vlog. What a beautiful place xxx
Yeww!! Thanks L and J 🙏🏼❤️
Just found you two. What a gorgeous young couple You are and so informative. Keep up the GREAT work. 😘
Awww thank you Lynne, that’s so kind of you to take the time to share your thoughts ❤️🙏🏼 we have many more adventures through Cornwall for you to enjoy, or if you fancy exploring Australia or Europe or Russia or China… we have a playlist for each country! 🤩
I would visit there off season, if I was to visit there, I feel for the residents, but after 18 year's of doctor Martin get there town back
Remember the only thing that is guaranteed is change 🤔
we dont really mind as long as people respect that it is a place people live and work
It wasn't all bad news for the residents. Over the years, it was decided to set up a trust fund for the residents of Port Isaac, mainly as recompense for the inconvenience of the filming. Around £100'000 was provided to set up facilities for the senior citizens in the village, and to help with other matters that required funding.
@@Brian-om2hh I wish I was a co executive producer on this programme or have shares in the programme, that the mistake the carry on cast made when offered shares or money
Wow amazing, must visit cornwall
It’s a must do on everyone’s bucket list 😁
Love ya work … we are just starting out in UA-cam and we learn lots by watching experts like you in action :)
Awww 🥰 thanks Mark N Mandy 🙏🏼❤️ good luck on your UA-cam journey! Ask any questions you have, we’d love to help! ✌🏼😁
Do you edit all your own videos? Great footage and content ❤
Thanks Jayne, yes we do! Probably should outsource our editing at this point 🤪 but we enjoy it!
Another great video guys 👏 we'll be setting off for Carbis Bay from St Helens very early on Monday morning, nice 7 hour drive 😭🤣 Can't wait to explore the area for the first time! Definitely having a drive out to Port Isaac after watching this, looks beautiful 😄
The 7 hours will be worth it I’m sure 😉 we’re not sure what the weather is doing next week yet, it seems to change by the day! But come prepared for anything 🤣
If you guys are up for it, we were told the walk around to Port Quin is definitely worth it! Something we didn’t have time for but maybe you could squeeze in 😊
@@cjexplores cool, will look into it thanks 👍 I know.. we thought it was a lovely week but the Tues, Weds may be mixed weather now. Considering driving out to Lands End for sunset one night and there's a beach 20 mins away what was voted 8th best in the world recently... Pedn Vounder?
@@3StripesBenz yes! Lands End can be very windy, mind you 🌬 And Pedn Vounder has been on a list for a while now actually. We may be visiting tomorrow if we have the energy!! 😁
@@cjexplores apparently it's a nudist beach but majority of people are tourists. Be careful what you capture 🤣 I'm just reading up on it now, dog friendly but access is meant to be difficult so whether we'll be able to get down to it or not 🤔 Minack theatre is close by too 👍
@@3StripesBenz oh nice, thanks for the heads up! Will be careful where we point our lens 🤣
everywheres a holiday home which is why none of the locals can afford to live there anymore..........spent my childhood here 1971 .......run down and cheap then
Like a lot of places in Cornwall. Hopefully with changes in the market we can reach a happy medium of homes and holidays 🙏❤️
Exactly the same problem as properties in villages in the Lake District.....they get snapped up as holiday homes. Some sellers in the Lakes now place a stipulation on the property, so that it is only purchased by someone who has lived or worked in the area for 3 years.....
None of the locals can afford to live there because those locals or their parents cashed in and sold for profits….now they moan and about prices. People in London and parts of south east have had same problem for 30 years.
