How to finish UTMB 100 Miles | Race Overview | Everything you need to know to beat all cut-off times

Surprises are nice at a birthday party, but not if you run 175 kilometers with 10.500m of elevation. Knowing the course can be the difference between F and DNF. And the DNF-quote on this race with a strict cut-off is whopping 40%.

Can't thank you enough for this. The race made a fool of me in 2022, privilaged to be getting another shot at it. The adjusted pace graph is validation of my estimated splits, which ebb and flow vs the cutoff and I just didn't know why. Also, those last 3 hills, going through the second night - wow thanks for making me aware just how tough they are. Will now be at least mentally if not physically prepared for those.

Thanks for the great video. Which is more difficult, UTMB or KAT100M?

I found KAT slightly more difficult, but UTMB is higher in absolute altitude and the second half is technical. The hardest is Nice 100 miles though.
