I don't think anybody won the challenge, one day is too small to judge both realities. If Tayo had spent more than one day in Makoko with no cameras following him about I wonder if the community would have continued to feed him. Shank was definitely happy, he had his friend with him, he invited his other friends to share from his bounty and he was able to do that because he had more than enough, Tayo looked lonely, he couldn't even swim in the dirty water. It's the connections we have that bring us happiness, whatever our situations in life. But life is better when you can afford good food and shelter and when you don't have desires that are unattainable to you.
Great response. ''Most people'' have tasted both sides and believe me or no, no one would want to have ''less'' but also making good connections makes a difference.
Nah I don't believe so. Tayo was uncomfortable because he wasn't used to it with time he could adapt to it, he connected with people in the community he wasn't lonely to me and if he kept up good relations and helped the continued to help out in the community maybe even getting a paid job even without the camera I think the community will still look out for him albeit not every day. Shanks would've gotten bored of the quad and the pool with time, his friends may not even like him but appreciate the escape into luxury that he provides

I think money can buy a lot of fun, but Tayo proved that you can still be happy even without money if you actually try to be happy. SOME people who have no money spend so much time just being sad because they don’t have money, instead of making the best of their situation. Money can buy you happiness that is why people work so hard throughout the year to go on vacation and have new experiences. I love Nigeria from Kenya and I want to experience life in Nigeria.
I enjoyed the challenge. I would have to say there is more of a community when you have less than you experience that righteous community, and there is nothing wrong with having as long as you're righteous with your dealings and well being which leads back to "Community" Family etc...

All the money, expensive gadgets and lavish homes don't bring happiness if you're experiencing the wonders alone. The two staying at the expensive hotel felt the need to bring their friends to the Hotel to celebrate. Imagine if it was just one person in the house to enjoy alone. More money more problems! 💰💸
@@davidonyedika7632 I know people who are Bedridden afflicted with Physical Sickness, who have plenty of money and many beautiful material things, do you think they're Happy? The problems begin when you DON'T surround yourself around genuine people who like you for you and not what you can offer them. If you think my comment is a Lie then you are still a young teenager who hasn't lived life or have limited life experiences or a very shallow person. Either way lessons will come sooner or later if you live long enough. ✨✌🏾
Abeg shank and dotun were the happiest in this challenge o, their happiness was even making us the viewers happy.😂😂😂 But the contestants were supposed to experience both lifestyle for better judgement.
I would say both parties were happy not necessarily because of money but because they were people to share beautiful memories with, money without loved ones means nothing, I don't agree with not striving to be successful, but don't ever do it at the expense of those who truly love you, because your success means nothing without them.
The truth is that money cannot buy happiness but money can help to improve the quality of life. There are so many people in life that have so much money but they are not happy, and there are also people that do not have so much money but contented with the little they have and are always happy. Life is all about impact. You do not have to have so much money to create impact in life. For me it is the sense of impact you create around you and the environment you find yourself that generate happiness and make the world around us habitable. This is it. Thank you so much Tayo for this video.
You can only say you’re grateful you’re still living cause you still have hope but I don’t see any reason you’re happy living in that more then someone who have everything all ooo
Happiness is a being not a place. There are people in both locations you featured who are truly happy and there are some others still in both locations who aren’t. We must seek to enjoy every aspect of our lives wherever we find ourselves. Thank you for the beautiful video. ❤
Indeed money doesn't buy happiness... True happiness are moments we create and it lingers irrespective of whether there's money or not. Money enables you to do the things you want to do. My take is let every moment count in your life and have enough money to do the things you'd love to do. Kudos Tayo for this eye-opening content!

All of a sudden fear is gone. Do you know what a human who has no fear can do? He can change the world.
For me What I have come to realise is that a man who walks with God needs nothing.
God one way or another supplies all he needs.
There is so much that I can say on this subject because I have personally gone through it.
But for now we can leave it there.
Blessings.
Oga you go do transfer?

As a lady from uk , i was shocked yes shocked at how nigeria wants needs to be designer ,money , rich
But the best times i had were basic times with real people giving everything
Well said.
Baba then go leave where you think has best times.
@@758MILLION,this was in nigeria and i had the best time of my life visited several times so please dont get me wrong
are u really surprised? Cause ur people taught them that those things make u happy. Its a conditioning, a hypnotism. Before colonialism. They were content with what they had
I can confirm to you that you are not rich but depressed, money brings happiness
Omo money can buy happiness Biko 😂😂😂😂 and the guys had the best time of their lives 😂😂😂😂
Money buys happiness if you have good friends and families who love you unconditionally. But money without good people around you is bad!!
Nah! the guy in the boat in CAPPING !!! He's like "Am very happy" with the sad face 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I didnt know I needed to see this video. I've been feeling very ungrateful...but you reminded that I've got community around me. This video reminded me I'm richer than I thought :) thanks!
😊 enjoyed this video!
Haha. Im glad you did. Thanks for watching
started following your content while u had under 50k subs
u are an inspiration sir
thank u
No doubt Tayo won! Come on Shank, take the loss & take a seat, Bro 🤣 Sending love from Washington, DC
Shank na warey😂😂😂
Money can buy you happiness that is why people work so hard throughout the year to go on vacation and have new experiences. I love Nigeria from Kenya and I want to experience life in Nigeria.
I enjoyed the challenge. I would have to say there is more of a community when you have less than you experience that righteous community, and there is nothing wrong with having as long as you're righteous with your dealings and well being which leads back to "Community" Family etc...
Dey play . I knew Tayo will win . Most people just say money doesn’t buy happiness . IT DOES . Really
I really enjoyed this video 😊 but we should not lie money makes some of us more happier 😂😂
This one I no gree Tayo, you rig this one honestly😂😂😂
You clearly were itching to leave Makoko, I get you wanted to pass a message that money doesn’t buy happiness. But in this video “money bought happiness”. Love you Tayo, Weldone ❤️❤️😂
Thinking of doing this atall is mind blowing,, tells how genius you are ❤
A camera body strap is something you should consider getting for shoots like this, cause hearing about that camera just broke my heart 💔. Love your work as always 🤍.

Reasonable and teachable video. Thanks guys!😀

Abeg shank and dotun were the happiest in this challenge o, their happiness was even making us the viewers happy.😂😂😂
But the contestants were supposed to experience both lifestyle for better judgement.
I would say both parties were happy not necessarily because of money but because they were people to share beautiful memories with, money without loved ones means nothing, I don't agree with not striving to be successful, but don't ever do it at the expense of those who truly love you, because your success means nothing without them.
It's giving Jimmy's Vibe.
Let watch and see this will literally be the most view video. Give it 6 months
This was fun to watch 😊
You can only say you’re grateful you’re still living cause you still have hope but I don’t see any reason you’re happy living in that more then someone who have everything all ooo
I was super emotional when they offered you a free beer. That right there was golden 💯❤️
This was so chaotic….. love it❤
Im pretty sure its because the poop and urine goes directly into the waters, that's why Tayo didn't swim 😂😂

Mr. Beast Vibes with a really awesome message 🙏

I love to see the over exaggerated goofiness that your family has 🥰🙏🏽. Continue creating memories while sharing love and everyone involved will retain the wisdom that money doesn’t buy happiness.
I genuinely enjoyed this. Thank you Tayo!

The fact that the toilet is open and shit go directly to the water can't get out of my mind, it's uncomfortable!
When your friend said go test yourself after this video 🤣 Because I was thinking how far is this swimming lagoon from the poo-poo water? But the sense of community they had there was truly special.
TAYO MADE THE SLUMS LOOK LIKE LUXURY FOR REAL
To me both won. While we cannot lie that comfort makes us happy it is fulfilling to see how people who had very little were able to share and the sense of oneness.
