I always like the May episodes! Stoked to see how happy she is about learning to drift and getting hands on more at the shop and during your races. The intakes are a good mod for the car and def clear the headlights bud 🤘🤘

I knew it when she was helping Daiki fix the cars, she would want drive time soon afterwards. Go for it!
Use open hand to shift 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th. Gear shifter will align itself so it’s impossible to miss. If you hold the shifter and direct it from the top you will miss every time.
Its about time May gets to build something with her own style and something that shows her Japanese personality ! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME MAY !

Mishimoto definitely has the best oilcooler mounting for an NA. I like their catch-can set up for the ZN6/8 as well, neatest solution that I'm aware of by far.

Sam you should do a whole set of wrench key chain so we can collect them as we watch. 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm,15mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm.
I'd like to see a start to finish on how you are going to restore those headlights and what you are using to accomplish a factory reset because there's so many JDM cars that need this due to hazing. And since you are planning to do them anyway why not show us that process. And get a free video out on the tube . Call it money in the bank if you will.
Also I think you're definitely going to make Yugo a great little mechanic because he's probably going to be the only one who could get his hands in those tight spots in JDM cars! LOL

Don't put kn filter, its oil base. With time it will kill your MAF sensors. Go for dry fliter

I would definitely recommend a remap! The z has a DBW and delay in the first 3 gears (in the UK at least). You won’t gain much power but there’s a lot more drivability.

Why don't just use vinyl tints instead of night shade. So easy to peel off after if want to change tint.

It's Kermit Thee Z. :) (And Yugo's like literally half the size of an RB. We can say we knew him when. :) )
(And possibly not wrong about gals pickiing up a lot about drifting and car control just out of subtlety and paying attention. As long as we're not in 'do things step by step' phase and with any nervousness to get over. (And for me, drift is just one more skillset in the toolbox, as fun as it is to watch, not sure I'd want to specialize there, but ...feeling the weight transfer, what all the tires are doing, that's stuff boys might lose in the horsepower shuffle and start learning throttle control later, that's something some faculties associated with gals may be stronger points earlier in the learning curve. (And yes, that's dealing in stereotypes, but if they apply, use em. )
(As for seating and controls, 'best' isn't always so much of a factor as a sense of connection, gal and car connecting may outweigh other factors. (And if they make seats for Mae's size and build there , that may be good. She actually often looks like she's a bit crowded on the shifting arm by bolsters and angles so she can be where she needs to be for the pedals and maybe wheel. (Might be good if Mae can see what people of similar size and build have set up. We're of different builds. And heights, but changing the seat could make everything line up or mean a backtrack is in order. :)

The K&N filters sound great on it. I think as well the car will get more response and better powercurve with hp and tq gains. Prob not 20 but 5-10 is reasonable I guess.
Happy for May that she'll be learning in Z, they seem like a great platform for it. Also thanks to you guys, i've been looking to trade in one of my cars for a Swift as well. Used not new.
But as the 2nd car I think it'll be a great and fun one! Just saving up for the additional money I need to put on top for the trade in.😄

Z look and sound amazing! For the nightshade headlight, as the car is not a exhibition car I say remove it. It look cool and all but is not practical for regular use.

even in the 90s when they made the 300zx z32 and had all the money they had the ebrake on the right side of car, regardless if it was right hand or left hand drive. i prefer it on opposite of driver cause you get an excuse to touch your girls leg more often hahaha.
