It would be funny if people exploited this ratio
After 16 years I can't believe people still forget that you can't have buildable areas within the spawn barriers
they probably placed the func_respawnroom entity (it can disable building) slightly off so it doesn't cover the whole spawn area. at least it's not as busted as pl_cashworks was on release (you could go into blu spawn as red without any exploits)
It's so easy to miss. You have no idea.

You know, all these equalizer/escape plan taunt kill spam exploits over the years wouldn't have been an issue if the death of the soldier wasn't dependent on actually being hit by the explosion...

What's an "update"? Did you mean hotfix?
It's a community made map that Valve OK'd into the game officially. So its the fault of the community map maker.
@@Alkaris also the fact that there's only one freelance developer working on the game makes it pretty hard to playtest
@@grog398 Nah, the TF team for this update was 2 people. Jill, and Eric Smith. Valve is notorious for play-testing but TF2 doesn't really get those resources since the team is so small. The TF team probably did SOME play-testing amongst themselves but with a team so small its really hard to account for everything.
none of these exploits are new/have nothing to do with these specific maps

Valve patch notes: Removed Summer Update entirely due to bugs and exploits
The hardwood one doesn't seem like an exploit because the map developer specifically made is so you couldn't place teleporters but you could place other buildings.
Plus thats a great spot to be sniped by direct hit or sniper rifle
he probably just said that delfy is a sniper because it increases the chances for f1´s by alot. people rly dont care anymore and jusr get rid of you .

I like to imagine those exploits where you can tauntkill as Soldier through the floor is just Soldier actually, physically smashing his fist through the material to drop a grenade at their feet. XD
He would have a collection of arms with grenades taped to them just for this occasion. Because as stupid as it sounds, this is the exact moment he was planning for.
i love how folks never get mad over a soldier infinite taunt kill exploit. at worst it's utter surprise and maybe one or two people raging, but the rest are like "WRITE THAT DOWN THERE'S A FUNNY SPOT!"

A cooler fix to the equalizer taunt kill here is make the water push you out of the area
so if you jump well, you could get to the top of the stream and get a solid kill in before being ejected?

Theres multiple other old maps that can now have their spawns breached by spies using an enemy teleporter as well

Delfy is the reason you need a killbind.
That is what happen with you randomly pick 15 year old maps on gamebanana and make them official without proper inspection
All the dislikes are from the people still stuck in the box

I love how genuinely useful it is to have a kill bind in the scenario that your teammate traps you

we already pushed an update to fix the ones on Selbyen before this video, were just waiting on valve to push the update now.
0:30 its not a summer exploit. This is one of the oldest tricks that almost every equalizer player will do. If u do it underneath the floor, u wont die to the explosion damage. This also happened on Hightower where a Trollider or Rocket Jumping Soldiers will use parachute to get to the bottom part of the structure. There they will start using it so its the oldest taunts and perhaps one of the oldest tricks to survival from that taunt
It counts as summer exploit because you're able to do it on summer update map,any other questions?

Just went to sulfur. I saw 2 soldiers doing that exploit and a cloak and dagger spy that killed me while doing the exploit. Ah, that community...
Moral of the story: don’t take engineer teleporters on any new map that gets released 😂

Wait a second, I think I was on the server with Delfy last night!! I was scout and noticed a lot of engineers (2 with unusual) that were building under that staircase

Theres so many ways to enter spawn that they should really just make it so that players die if they are inside enemy spawn rooms
I know very well that sulfur exploit long before the map got added because of zombie vs engineer
imma be honest im impressed there isnt more and i know it just came out but i was already expecting like 2 solid out of bounds godlike sentry locations 😂 i guess they did do SOME testing after all...

Valve doesn't need playtesters when they got Delfy to do it for them for free.

Nowadays players don't allow themselves to get trapped like that anymore they just kill themselves.
With the sulphur explot you should get a spy on the opposite team to take the teli and kill everyone thats trapped

One thing I've noticed is, these bugs get fixed after a while....
But when delfy posts a video on them, they get fixed in a week or 2. I wonder if valve are subscribed to him? ^^
