Just saw micheal monroe at the kk steel mill wolverhampton last night, absolutly amazing running around and jumping like a teenager, sounds just like he did in the 80s and at 62 years old still put on a absolutly amazing concert , nice to see teens at the concert enjoying it as well, his music never ages , hanoi rocks 4 eva xxxxxxxx

That’s how the industry works. Steal the magic of someone else and copy it. Some people you just can’t copy or capture their essence because it’s an energy, frequency and vibration thing. Some people make you feel things you’ve never felt before and that can’t be harnessed by anyone else.

What can you say about this band, pioneers of the 80's glam rock scene, my brothers friend recorded Oriental Beat back in the 80's on tape and I was hooked. My brother saw them at the Reading festival in the 80's I wasn't so lucky. McKoy so underrated as a song writer, the Marquee performance is legendary! Cherry Bombz were also a great band!

@richmorpurgo5554 I thought it was one those "kind of live" live performances. You know, recorded live but with everything rerecorded and overdubbed except for maybe the bass track. Just about every live record from the 70's and 80's were done that way. Most famously Alive! by Kiss and of course Live and Dangerous.

who hanoi rocks are/were?? but as rock n roll lineage goes, most people dont fully understand that modern
music as we know it was born in the southeastern united states. (blues) was started here years ago, when
black people would sing hymns while working in the fields. blues started country, country started rock n roll.
