It comes through rotation really. But I have core muscles to t12 so can get some hip flick indirectly. I definitely use everything I have to make it work.
Hey. Haven’t kept it up unfortunately but had it going ok. Normal kayak. But rip out the aggressive thigh braces and pad out for your knees. Then wedge a peice of foam or a ball between your legs. Attached to to underside of the deck so it pull out when you pull the tab.

I struggle with my legs falling to one side of the boat and getting a fast enough hip flick. I'm determined to get it and this was encouraging! Thanks
