Rialto Beach was one of my favorite spots. Incredible beauty with the sea crashing on the shore, the huge sun bleached driftwood, the eagles soaring above and all the marine life near the Hole in the wall. The Hoh Rainforest certainly did not disappoint either! The trees were massive and the moss was awesome! And Lake Crescent was huge and peaceful what a spectacular day!
Thanks Swishanie, Some are from Sue's phone, very few from my phone and some from my Nikon d3200 camera. It's likely a mix of Sue's shots and the ones on the Nikon.
That's quite a goal, Sue. I am looking forward to all of it! Rialto beach was very special, and those hikes through the forest, grand. I'll just bet that's the first time anyone ever found an angel in a hollow tree. ❤ Loved it.
You never know what you’ll find in the hollow of a tree. Beautiful area, Nancy and I still plan to make it back out there in the future. Hopefully Sue, and you can make it to all the parks.
🤣😉Sue was a good sport playing along to continue your filming the hallow in the tree tradition. Olympic was beautiful and we enjoyed this day a lot. This was number 31 of 63.
Other than a business trip in Seattle many years ago, it was my first chance to really see Washington. Lot's to see and explore in the mountains and along the shore.
Wow....those trees are huge ! That's one part of the country I've never been to....the northwest corner. Maybe one day. Amazing coastal scenery ! I love the ocean...so much to explore and find just walking along a beach...especially when it's a rocky beach. I believe those squishy things you were checking out on the rocks were actually anemones. They suck in their tentacles at low tide like that...pretty cool ! And those tree roots look like a lot of fun to crawl around through. Amazing forests in that are of the country...temperate rainforests....beautiful ! Thanks for sharing ! Blessings ! \o/
Thanks Eileen! You would really enjoy the northwest. You would have be disappointed in me as I was worn out the last day and turned down a chance to go kayaking before heading to the airport. We did do a lot of sight seeing along the shore that day though.
We haven't been to Washington yet, but it's high on our list! We'll be retiring early in less than 3 years and will be traveling the country pretty much full-time, so we can't wait to see all of these places! The closest we got was northern California along the coast and also stopping and seeing the Redwoods. Oooh, the Hoh Rainforest looks gorgeous! This park looks amazing! God bless you both! 💖 Keep on keeping on for the Lord! 🙌🙌🙌
Thanks! If the Lord tarries and health holds up retirement is a wonderful time to explore His creation and see all the wonderful works He has done. Washington has a lot to see and we were blessed to enjoy a lot of it.
You could have one huge beach fire with all that driftwood. ONP is pretty cool and you had some great weather. LOL on the finding in the tree hollow. The root systems on those trees is amazing. John from MI
Awesome goal, Sue! Have never been to ONP, my son in law was stationed in Washington years ago, but when I visited it was in winter, to help after their baby #3 was born. Wasn't able to explore much! Will definitely be going back. Looks like a perfect time of year to explore there! Washington is surely a beautiful state, and that was a beautiful beach!
It's a big goal. If the Lord tarries and we are healthy, we'll have a lot of traveling to do. There are 9 in Alaska and we have never been there. Also one is American Samoa. 30 Parks to go. Washington was beautiful and worth a trip back.
At 12:24, we have pics of the kids under the tree, kind of like when you found "life" in that tree hollow. I miss Washington State a lot .. maybe now or sometime in the millennium, we can hike a bit of it together 👍
I had only been there once before for a business trip to Seattle. Much better being able to explore a lot of the State this time. Can't imagine what it will be like to explore His wonders then.
Thanks Joe! Seattle was tough on us. We hit a rock with the rental car at Mt Rainier and then got caught in the flight cancel fiasco for 5 days. Thankfully, a dear sister in the Lord by word of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend took us in for 4 nights. PTL!
@@bestillonthetrail234 we've had trouble flying out also. The day all airports stopped allowing all wet items. The line was backed into and wrapped around the Sea Tac garage 😉
Thanks Ruby! We did get to see Mt Rainier and it was beautiful. Mt Rainier is one of the 63 National Parks. Though not a national park, we also visited Mt Saint Helens which was special considering the eruption in 1980.
@@bestillonthetrail234 Awesome, glad you get to see those other places. We used to live in the Seattle area for many years but moved ti the Mountains in Eastern WA 4 years ago.
Yahoo Mr. and Mrs. Bestill It seems you two having a blast summer. Oh Yes, I was mesmerized by the size and amount of driftwood on the beach when I visited WA, especially a week stay at San Juan Island. The neatest thing I have ever seen is that somebody is creative enough to make it for walking sticks with carving details. Not for sale but just rent while a person walk on the beach. Indeed the shapes of trees are unique that I have seen in the hiking trails in NC adn other states. Maybe the weather, disease, bugs, chemical balance..causing...The forest seem to offer you two some shelter, shades to avoid the heat OMGoodness, we saw American bald eagles, especially young brown ugly one still sitting in the nest...Did you know the parents bald eagles nurture a baby for 7yrs till white feather showing up around the neck? It is pleasure hiking with you virtually and I thank YOU. Please stay tuned for my upcoming waterfall...with some legendary story is in background. I look forward to your next episode..Love snow covered mountains in WA.
All the driftwood on many beaches in WA is amazing. It has a very unique beauty to it. I did not know about bald eagles nurturing for 7 years. That is amazing. We enjoyed seeing many of them at Rialto Beach. Sure was a special day at Olympic National Park.
Thanks Swishanie! If we get out that way for any parks, we would love to meet up. However, Hopewell is a national historic site (smaller) and not one of the 63 national parks on our hit list.

It sure was a good day at the beginning of our adventure. Loved all the stuff you mentioned. ❤
You guys are such a blessing!! Keep on trekking for The Lord!
Thanks Mark! God is good!
Amazing
Thanks Dave!
An interesting indeed... Thanks for the look at it...
Thanks Max! We had a great day at Olympic National Park. That was number 31 of 63.
"Land of dinosaurs" lol love it. So many amazing sights! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! The trees were so huge and with all the mossy growth on some of them, it just gave that look.
I love how some of your pictures zoom in.

Ken, I'm enjoying your National Park journey! So many beautiful places to see and thank you for sharing with us. Another awesome adventure.
Thanks Dan! This was a great start to our journey in WA.
Beautiful scenery, brother. Cool to see you out on the other coast.
There sure are beautiful Mountains and shoreline in WA. God bless!

Not sure why I screeched with that angel in there🤷♂🤣. All I have to do is mention a parks trip and Sue has the maps out.
