This is the most realistic graphics mod for GTA I've seen, no extra saturation, no Hollywood style yellow filter, no water everywhere (it's LA guys cmon). The only thing that can be improved ambient occlusion on the vehicles. Then it would be the perfect mod. Would pay even 100$ for it after that.
The reason most graphic mod showcases has water everywhere is because the mods have an optional file that does that for showcase purposes only. They don't actually leave puddles everywhere by default

It’s a lot … 8GB worth of files. But amazingly enough for the amount of custom content, it’s VERY well optimized and runs very good! It barely dropped my frames, runs really smooth once you have everything downloaded into your cache if you use the FiveM version.

Lived for long time in LA. Haven't been back for years. This blew my mind. So many memories! Best part is, no matter what you in this simulation, you can't have as much traffic as IRL. The traffic was the woooorst!
I am a FiveM server owner and developer, and the only way to get **that** much traffic is to spawn the traffic manually! pretty insane. FiveM will crash after a certain amount of entities are spawned though, so it might not even be possible.
I’ve been in LA in 2017 and I simply loved the city, the weather is fantastic and the traffic is indeed awful, however it's not that bad as in my city (São Paulo-SP Brazil) believe me!
This mod as absolutely breathtaking in person. I have the server-sided release in my FiveM server, it’s just mind blowing how much work went into this mod. Massive props to the creators (Adnr Studio), it’s a very impressive mod and strangely enough, optimized really well! My 3080ti/Ryzen7 3800x build on ALL my settings maxed out averages around 60-70FPS (maybe a 3-5% drop than without it) around most of LS where as Liberty City V3.1 eats up my frames and drops it to 25-30fps.
Then you must have a really bad pc xD Mid class pcs can run this game even with these mods easy. Well of course not with the graphics this guy has cause it's obvious he has a beast pc but still..
I love it. I've been playing GTA since San Andreas and with every title I've set myself the goal of modding it as close as possible to the real location. You hit the nail with that. Honestly. Even if I have to say that I don't like that this mod is set in 2021 since GTA V is set in 2013, it is still a milestone in the mod history of the GTA series. Keep up the good work.
there's GTA 4 mod combos that are at this par or even better imo but the whole L.A. conversion is pretty cool. Its nice to see new modelled assets, real locations, and the color temp to 5500K to match the sunlight with the NaturaVision Mod. L.A. should be more warm color temp wise because of the smog though. I dont know what the Reshade is using for "ray tracing". It could be shadows, global illumination, etc.) just not sure. You could even add more mods to make this look even closer to "photoreal" with the character model packs (so character dont have that wonky GTA look to them) and real car packs that change all the cars to their real counter-parts), among other things.

With a note of the billboards... I reckon rockstar could sell a mint to advertisers by placing billboards in game, that change weekly/daily/hourly. Have some cutscenes where a billboard is present in the background. If they can tie it to adsense or whatever it is that shows relevant ads based on our interests/recently viewed. Like if Inlet/AMD are coming out with a new CPU, that can be on a billboard. They don't need to be looked at, but they are there for those who do want to look. Hell even have a reoccurring assassination mission where someone is working on a new billboard, and you look through your binoculars to confirm it's the right person which takes 5 seconds.

Hell even have a reoccurring assassination mission where someone is working on a new billboard, and you look through your binoculars to confirm it's the right person which takes 5 seconds.
It’s crazy, that block where the CVS is on the thumbnail is the one on Melrose here in West Hollywood. That’s the street I grew up on, they even have MI the music school I went to!
