So important , having files to the cloud without a backup is a no no. I saved one of my friends the other day , something went wrong with his Dropbox account and he went disconnect. I had setup his cloud sync with of course snapshots and he lost maybe 4h of work instead of his whole business.
I can't help but wonder if this is just a pretty front-end on top of rsync or rclone. Considering Synology is built on a Linux core, I would not be at all surprised.
Great video, Tony - I have used this exact setup many times and it works extremely reliably. Great explanation!
Hey Frank, thanks for watching and commenting. Means a lot coming from you! Enjoy the rest of your weekend as well!
Great video Tony - Thanks 😊
Thanks so much David!
Great stuff Tony. I set this up to backup my Google Drive by enabling the do not erase option.
Thanks for watching Michael. Yes, just as simple to setup with Google Drive. The do not erase option is genius!

Great video Tony, and the one way option is really the only way to go in this case. great job
Thanks Avi! I agree, Cloud Sync is perfect for this use case. Thanks for watching.
This is a great idea as the cloud isn't magic, it is just someone else's computer..
Thanks for watching Jay!
