I have not flown in over 3 weeks and was really itching to get up. No idea where I was going, just knew that feeling of boredom disappeared when I jammed that throttle forward in the Cherokee 140! ❤ Flying
@@fatherof2710 thank you, I appreciate the awesome feedback. I finally got to a point where I said, I need to stop the editing and compile this video 😂
We were both up the same day. I flew the afternoon BDR-MGJ-BDR and managed .6 of actual IMC. On the 23rd, I landed Fishers for the first time. Montauk is always fun. Departing RW24 is a blast. Noise ordinance asks that you make a 90 degree right turn at 200agl and out the mouth of the harbor.
@@scottbeyer101 hey, thanks for checking in fellow pilot. Glad you were able to enjoy the amazing calm day with me. Let’s hope for some more nice VFR vibes
Congratulations, I got my ppl in January and in November I got my instrument rating now I am working on my commercial. Keep going and again congratulations you got this brother.
@@MrSixstring2k Back at you. Instrument is huge. I have so much more respect for instrument pilots after logging 1.1 actual IMC hand flying this past fall. 6,000, over JFK Bravo was amazing and tiring. thanks for the comment and watching
Beware the Montauk monster…actually be weary of deer and other wildlife in the runway. I’ve seen a couple cross the runway during taxi and had a missed approach because of them. Awesome flying 🤘🏽
@@Stiletto150airborn thanks, that 140 is very forgiving. It’s an earlier model, the throttle is a push rod and the trim is on the roof. But it felt smooth, I had to use more rudder than the 161.
Would love to see the cockpit view during landings since it's the most challenging part for us student pilots :) can't wait for your next video. Studying from KBDR by the way haha
@@nsv1218 I started flying out of KBDR over 20 years ago 😀, I have lots of videos that have cockpit landings on my channel already uploaded. I even have a couple where I strapped the GoPro on my head. Search around. Thanks for checking in and keep flying. Love being a pilot
@@WhyDoINeedThis2023 I know, was made aware of this after posting pictures on facebook. I had no idea, luckily the owner should get reimbursed from the place I rented that aircraft from. He’s a real nice guy too.

Here for the premier. Looking forward to this one. Will update my comment when I'm done
@@friskytwox thanks for making the premier. I just finished the video this morning. Hopefully it get some good feedback from my audience.

That’s an expensive T&G, as the landing fees are high there. Wait for it, it’ll be mailed to the registered owner of the plane.
