I just wanna thank you for your calmness, kindness and sweetness to these dogs. My dogs are traumatized at the groomer so now I am just researching and watching videos on how to groom my dogs. I wish all groomers are like you.
You're so great with the dogs, and a wonderful groomer. Loved watching this as a new groomer myself, thank you for taking the time to show us your skills.
This is such a helpful video! I have been slowly learning to groom my cavapoo at home...she and I are still a bit nervous, but you've given me the confidence to keep at it! Since I have a grooming table set up all the time, we do a little bit every few days and I'm seeing improvements each time! Thank you for these excellent tutorials!
What a beautiful grooming! You are doing it with so much love, no wonder snowball was doing so good ;-) I really enjoy your videos very much, because you handle the dogs with so much respect and love and you are beeing so carefull!!! All thumbs up for Rudy!
I found your channel only today and this was my third video by you. I love how you speak to/with and over the dog. One feels that you have great passion for it and that the dog comes first. Not every groomer channel gives that vibes. I'm sorry you don't get the recognition and views that you deserve!
I'm a dog groomer in training. I never thought to use my clippers more around the head instead of the scissors on an anxious dog to save time. Thanks for the new ideas, always more then one way to approach things. Love your videos! Keep it up :)
You did such a beautiful job as always!! I love that you did a video on a dog that is not fond of grooming. Like all of your other videos, you explained each step so beautifully. All of the dogs that come to you are truly blessed, as are all of us that are learning from you. Thank you so much!!!!
Thank you so much C D..Thank you for always being there for us from the start. Your support, and kind words are what keeps us going..We love you..God Bless you..
I am very convinced after watching this video of you one of my dog has a maltese blood in him. So we got him from a bichon breeder and his pedigre shown bichon parents but the ears, the not very thick hai, the more black pigments on him, the excitement at the same time anxiety. He is such a sweet dog and very friendly but he can be also aggressive if he doesn’t like the moment. He is more bichon tho but I’m sure got a maltese bloodline
I'm so happy I found your channel! I have a Maltipoo puppy. I bought grooming scissors, a Wahl trimmer and a grooming arm is in the mail. I love to watch your videos. You explain things so well. It really helps me. I'm hoping the grooming arm will help me with a wiggly puppy! Thanks again!!
The arm will help a lot,if you haven't already we have a video on table safety, its worth a watch..Thank you so much for your kind comment, and for watching us..I'm so glad our videos help..let us know your progress..
The Saturday Night Live skit on table grooming safety was so funny! My husband said, 'you can tell he loves dogs by doing this funny video'. I received the grooming arm today and I'm excited to use it but first I'll need to get my puppy used to it...a few minutes here and there. 🙂
@@GroomingByRudy It is a great pleasure to watch people doing their work with love. I have been doing this job for 11 years and make me verry happy. I learned human psychology with her😊 You know, what I'm talking about😉
I have a Shih Tzu cross Silky Terrier with the exact same fur type and issues. I clean her up myself to save money...it's difficult but her anxiety is through the roof so can't take her anywhere that resembles a vet lol I found using a bikini trimmer super helpful around her privates. Always love watching to pick up tips on how to get through the groom easier. Thank you ❤️
I was so glad to see this new video from you. I always enjoy watching you. It makes my heart happy to see how nice you are to the dogs. Looking forward to seeing new videos! Thank You.
I have the exact dog. He is the absolute sweetest. He does well at the groomer even though he's attached to me like glue. I recommend a Maltese or Maltese mix to anyone.
Rudy, you might be able to tell the difference in demeanor, but this little sweetheart reminded me of Snoopy toward the end of the groom. She seemed to be cooperating well. I am on a wait list for my first Havanese and I've been watching your videos to make sure I handle the grooming needs between grooming visits as best I can! Sure wish you were in Houston!
Bless her, she did well. But you can see with the shaking and things when she's reached capacity. I'm learning about the hand holds and supports you do as you groom, which will help me with my lad. One small thing, most dogs with separation anxiety don't do well with confinement at all, so it would be great if you could avoid crating her (which was shown at the beginning of the footage). That would make her even more comfortable in your care. My guy has SA and I've done a huge amount of research around it and am working with a specialist behaviourist to help him gradually be more comfortable with absences.
We only created her for under a minute, to show her anxiety..We than worked on her start to finish, held her until her owners picked her up..Her total stay at the shop was about an hour..Thank you so much for your comment, and for watching us..
My dog's groomer is probably closing :( So now I am grooming him myself. I have all the right tools, but I have to work on my patient. LOL. You did such a great job with her. She's adorable.
What is the brand of scissors kit please..im going to start doing my 4 years old maltese after he got cut a a grooming salon he gets scare Avery time we are out side the grooming place
How can i blow dry my anxious Maltese during grooming. She hates the hair dryer. I see you have someone holding a dryer away from her? that right? thank you
@@KristinHaugstoga I have a Havanese that looks similar to the dog he's grooming... therefore neither of us really knows because we can't see the beautiful dog in person to compare. The grooming he does is outstanding, wish he were in Marietta Georgia so I could bring my Ollie in for a groom.
My dog today yelpped in pain as i was rinsing him jay sofly the lady 2 yrs ago i boyght my poodle from said when he was with menita barbosa of newark nj he was hit by a car and never taken to a veterinarian
That's because they got to be trained if you don't train your dog that's why they don't let you touch them these owners of these pets have the biggest excuse I've ever heard I'm in New York and all that matting is not allowed from an owner they will get a fine and some people will go to court for that for not having your dog shaved and clean
You do not believe with some people come up with these excuses I believe that these pet owners should not have pet if they are not going to be taken care of
