- You’ve probably heard of the term “sleeper” - as in sleeper agents and sleeper cars. Basically, “sleeper” means you have an unassuming front or facade but under that is a highly trained agent or a really powerful engine.
This is how I would describe the new ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 OLED (M3401) - a sleeper laptop. It comes in this sort of ordinary-looking chassis but inside its shell are powerful internals.

I personally like these kind of laptops and this one is a beast but unfortunately the ryzen 5 version of this model is not available in my region😭

Its great for both
Issue is the noise. I got myself this laptop with a Ryzen 7 5800H more than a year ago and as soon as you get it using chrome too much, plugged in, it already starts making a very high, noticable, noise with the fans. Of course when I use it for gaming or CAD it is mandatory airplane noise xd
I want to buy ryzen 5 version, but one major problem is that it has very low battery backup
Is the ryzen better than the intel version ? I've been away for some years from laptop world.
(Just based on what I've read so far) in general, AMD Ryzen excels in delivering good performance alongside better battery life (for typical workloads). But when it comes to heavier workloads and pushing the system for performance, Intel might have an edge (at the cost of more power consumption). Also, if you like Thunderbolt, you're more likely to get it in Intel machines.
Hello, i bought this laptop today and found out my touchpad is producing like a rattling sound even with a gentle touch. ( as if its springy, as if it doesnt stick) do you have the same problem on yours too? Or is it normal cuz of the number pad feature on it?

I am looking for a new laptop that will be mainly used for programming. The glossy screens makes me hesitate on this one because I think it is hard on your eyes. I may be wrong. Can anyone confirm wether this laptops screen is fitted for 8+ hours of use? Will it damage my eyes?

@@StivoSirel yes I did. I've loved it so far. Sometimes it is hard to see when you have a light source behind you though, but if you move or raise the screen lightness it is fine.

i wouldn't do much programming on this laptop or any laptop for that matter.
even though the OLED display on this laptop is just as good as a macbook but with a larger screen.
i will always have an external monitor IPS 27 inch attached. it's way better for my eyes.

Yes, it can handle 1080p video editing and graphics easily. Layered 4K footage might be a different story tho

a pc laptop with a better panel than the retina xdr - be it oled or ips - does not exist. and oled comes with burn-in issues.

Asus Zephyrus G14 120HZ QHD Display, Ryzen 7 4800HS, 8Gb ram, and 1TB SSD, It doesn't have a camera.
or Asus Vivobook 14 pro which comes with OLED display 90hz, i5 11300H, 16GB ram, 512ssd comes with the inbuilt camera

Vivobook more into entry editing video premiere pro + after effect and zephyrus is gaming focus because 120hz is clearly for gaming

Used both! Once you have 14 inch display laptop believe me you don't want to move 15.6 again, until you want to play just games...

What is different between ryzen and intel? I not sure why my friend keep telling me ryzen processor not good
There are a good number of pros and cons for each so it boils down to what you need them for. Better cooling? Maybe go for AMD. Need low latency performance? Intel might be better in that aspect. Hope that helps!
the amd here has better performance (you can go up to 5900HX) but you lose thunderbolt and PD charging
