I've tried a few pumps, including this pump from you, and they all don't hold the gas for long. The pressure on this pump is also too small. The rest looks good. Maybe the capillary tube could be too long but otherwise it looks good, keep it up!!

Not enough power in the compressor, if it had the right temp/pressure it would blow the tubing off the condensor or melt the plastic. Next the metering device has to many wraps and the length of the copper tubing after defeat the purpose, immediately after the metering device should be the low pressure low temp side(the evaporator). In either case you are moving heat what 6 inches away tops and the configuration of those coils for the evaporator and condensor are not efficient. If you look at your ac unit you will see aluminum fins, this is to more efficiently absord and disipate heat. But moving the heat to the same room only adds heat not remove heat because the motor being used as a compressor generates heat.
Definitely possible. I like how u kept the evaporator coil ID greater than condenser coil ID and attached to correct suction and compression orientation That capillary expansion valve is also good. I have seen this on old school fridge repair work. That fridge is still working like a charm without the thermostatic expansion valve. Butane and propane are very efficient refrigerant but not commonly used due to flammable. You just need to have a functional thermostat cut off mechanism. And thermal separation to make it more efficient. I am still confused about what that injection is doing. Because once you open the valve the piston will fly. Sounds weird but Yes you can use that injection as a manual assist to accelerate the process. As the pressure inside will lift the piston and pressing it can instantly boost the compression as there is already NRV present on the pump. But best of luck with sour thumbs. 😂😂. . Good work bro

The video just showcases the operating principle of air conditioning. The thickest is the evaporator, the thinnest is the capillary, and the medium-sized is the condenser. The condenser converts high-pressure gas (refrigerant) into high-pressure liquid; Capillary tubes transform high-pressure liquids into low-pressure liquids; The evaporator converts low-pressure liquid into low-pressure gas. A pump is a compressor that converts low-pressure gas into high-pressure gas. Butane is a refrigerant (Danger! R22 is recommended).
The thing I still cannot get in such youtube toy friges is why the evaporator is always air-cooled, when it has to be a condenser as in regular friges?

Show real video of icing and condensation, it’s impossible to make ice on such low pressures. Even for the butane gas with boiling point of -1 and higher Enthalpy it still needs a lot of pressure 200 to 250 psi on condenser and 50 psi around the evaporator after capillary. The plastic TuBINgs can’t able to handle such higher pressure, how can you make it make ice on The evaporator? THE small diaphragm pump u are using is just capable TO make high enough around 50psi or some near 80 psi even this is too much for a small pump. If you are really confident enough show the condenser temperature and evaporator tempreature without zooming and editing the video raTHEr Than showing Fakes !
THE MODEL shows how an vapour compression system works , BUT YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK in reality ALSO JUST USE A BIGGER SIZE COMPRESSOR pump or preferably use a mini 12v rotary vane pump. Its will definitely work , you will get temperature differences on both high and low sides. You can also use a mini piston pump having compression ratings above 150- 200 psi . It works !

Fake. Freezing scene is reversed. You freezed condenser, filmed how ice melts, zoomed in and just reversed footage. You should put inside liquid butane gas so it will be under high pressure. It will not work with just butane gas.
