Can we take a minute and talk about how bob and how he was running through what the song was about for them? He did the same thing with another drag queen earlier in the competition. I like how he wants everyone to bring their best and to fight hard he is such a team player!

I just love Kim Chi so much. I know she isn't the best at acting or walking but she had to overcome so much as a person. She was always creative and artistic and used it to better herself, I can't call her out for not trying. Her family doesn't know the truth about her true self and it takes a lot of balls to join this competition to come out. She is so kind and talented (in her own way) that even the queens cant shade her too much, nor do they dismiss her as much as they did Derrick for not being competition. Oh and the fact that she always complements a lot of the other queen's outfits is always the cutest! If she cant win, I hope she still goes far.

Spoiler warning: Thorgy worried way too much about Bob and I think that's why she went home, to be honest. Bob isn't worried about what anyone else is doing. The problem wasn't that anyone wanted Thorgy to be one note or put in a box, she just doesn't need to use every idea in one project / challenge.

Chi Chi was the surprise for me this season. I think she grew more than the others. From the beginning I thought she was just a street queen Rupaul found and gave a chance to. I thought she would be ignorant but she was very humble in all the critiques and didn't fight like Phi Phi or get physical like Mimi. And...she could lip synch her ass off...better than all of them plus she could dance. She may not have had the resources the others had but she has a good heart and is loaded with talent. That's what Rupaul means when she says anything can happen.

The idea of being a jack of all trades is that you’re quite good at a lot of things but because your talents are spread thin you can’t master any of them. In order to master a skill you have to devote time that takes away from the potential to develop other skills. I wouldn’t say it’s better or worse than mastering a specific skill but it’s not a bad thing by any means

She just has serious respect for Dreamgirls and for that song. Her advice and explanation was on point. And you notice Chi Chi listened to her but Thorgy wasn't there. Maybe if Thorgy had heard Bob she would have not tried to be quirky and done the lip sync seriously.
I know that she was bitter towards people but I still love Thorgy. I think the hate just came from jealousy of not winning every week and seeing Bob, her good friend, win even though she tried so hard. I wish she would have won a challenge, especially the RuCo's Empire one.

I can't believe Thorgy is gone... She was my favorite, and even with her flaws and times where she was annoying even to a huge fan of hers like me, she was still so lovable and such a personality... But I guess it really did come down to that lipsync and Chi Chi absolutely killed the performance and her runway was beautiful... I agree with a lot of the general opinion that Thorgy's behavior during this untucked was kinda shitty and she more or less sent herself home because she just got too in her own head. But I'm still gonna miss her.

I have to admit, Derrick did very well this week. Chi Chi turned that lip sync all the way out! That's how it's done. I'll really miss Thorgy. She was great, and delightful all the time that she was there.
Derrick did do well. I also actually found many of the other queens quite condescending towards Derrick this week.
I think Derrick truly succeeded on Bob's back. I have no doubt Bob was coaching Derrick in the workroom because Bob is team player who knows how to make things funny. Plus, Derrick's runway was completely and totally the worst. That was most of the complaints from the other queens and from the judges. I was glad to see Derrick actually try to do something different for once but her personal aesthetic without Britney was severely lacking.

kimchi and bob described Thorgy's overall personality so well in the first 4 minutes. I understand because I have the exact same brain as Thorgy's to the point I drive myself crazy overthinking EVERYTHING and it is the downfall of me and obv Thorgy's and Katya's as well. I also get really jealous and constantly compare myself and feel down bcuz of that.. Worry, jealousy, overthinking.. They allll work together in brains like Thorgy's and mine..The struggle is real you guys. It is hard to let go. Which is why I understand Thorgy starting to trash talk a lot in the last few episodes bcuz the shit got hard and Bob started winning everything even tho in Thorgy's head it is like "the fuck??? I work and think the hardest, yet without even trying Bob always does so well" so it is really not that she has anything against Bob it is just Bob is too good without really trying.

I am SO HAPPY Kim survived this week because the Ball episode is NEXT week! And we all KNOW she is going to slay. Derrick is so nice this episode while Thorgy is kind of cunty here but I feel bad for her, she's getting so much into her own head that it's clouding her judgement. 1. Derrick is STILL the worst.
2. Thorgy Thor was doing THE most. I knew that from day one. Bob's read, "Just walk by Thorgy and say 'scarf' and watch what happens" is the best line.
I really like Thorgy but it was the right choice to eliminate her. She got waaaay too in her head and let the competition get to her. She's extremely talented across the board but it was her own insecurities that got her in the end.
I'm really glad Chi Chi stayed, I really like her and she killed that performance. It kind of sucks that Thorgy went home before Derrick though.
I hope season 9 has as much or even more sisterly bond as this season.

+entoblast why not about naomi? Her fashion has been fucking top notch ever since she was told about her boring looks in the beginning, she's actually hilarious and her makeup is fucking gorgeous. Also, she's very likeable and doesn't point out other peoples flaws unlike derrick.
If we had to judge overall yeah he should be gone, but you at least have to give credit where its due. He did a really good job with this challenge.
Now, many may disagree and many may agree, but I think Thorgy's elimination was deserving. I thought that she did great through the competition, but her urge to beat other queen and focusing more on how they do really broke her in a way this week leading to her elimination. I still love Thorgy, but I'm happy with the final 5 based on THIS week. If we were basing it off from the whole season so far, I would of liked to see Derrick go, but Derrick did really good this week.
Yeah that's what people don't get. Its not based off of the overall season. Its based solely off of this challenge, and as much as I love Thorgy she really did flop this challenge. Her constant over analyzing is what sent her home.

Bob's discription of Effie's emotional state was spot on. And yes, Chi Chi BODIED the lipsync. Thorgy is such an artist every sense of the word but she really sent herself home. Self-confidence is essential but on RDR, it needs to be on fleek yet honed in.
Am I the only one who thought Thorgy looked like Sharon Needles with this look? Like. I legit thought Sharon just showed up on the runway for some reason when I was watching the episode.

I think Ru did it in pairs to spare Kim Chi, because Thorgy and Kim's ads were the worse. We always know Kim's runway will be fierce, but we also know she is the weakest performer left in the competition and all of the queens are capable of sending her home in a lip synch.

There is a verse in the Holy Bible that warns us about comparing ourselves amongst ourselves. Now I take the bible with a huge grain of salt, but that verse I take to heart and Thorgy Thor needs to do the same. It's one thing to be competitive, but to the point where you are so obsessed with one doing very well (BTDQ) or one person you think ''isn't worthy'' to stay (Chi Chi), you end up sabotaging yourself in the long run. I think Thorgy is a fierce queen, but with that poor challenge performance and her lip-sync getting upstaged by Chi Chi's, it was her time to go.

I still love Thorgy but some of her comments from the show really bothered me because it seemed like she was putting herself above the other queens. I really didn't want to see her go but when it came down to the two of them I'm glad Ru chose Chi Chi to stay. I think Thorgy was feeling pretty comfortable at this point in the competition and this episode is proof that you shouldn't underestimate others or let jealousy get the worst of you. Honestly, I was expecting neither of them to be sent home because even though their campaign videos weren't as strong as some of the others, I felt like their runway looks and lip syncs were decent enough to not be eliminated over.

Win, Lose or Draw all I can say is Chi Chi Did a damn good job after being called a country queen. It just goes to show you Never underestimate a Queen just because she's not from a Big City. RuPaul seen something in Chi Chi to bring her to the show. She's no Bob the drag queen or Thorgy or Acid Betty or KimChi and all the rest, Sure she doesn't the expensive clothes and fabulous wigs, She's Chi Chi Devayne now everybody knows who she is .
