Never Stopped Enjoying Your Videos ! 👍🌹
I'm so old that I forgot that it is called Buck dancing. I've done it all my life as well as the Cossack Dance.
Absolutely fabulous talent and thanks for the great camera angle showing the footwork!!!
Deceptively skillful dancing
Very good
When Maupin dances, I keep hearing that old UK club track "E'zer good! E'zer good! E's Ebenezer Good!" over the top of his steppin'
THAT WAS JUST AWESOME!!
It certainly makes me feel good. Wish I could make it back there to meet them at a Shindig.
The First Lady, was Amazing!
I agree and I am in love with her.
Love to watch it.. this is what makes you feel good!!
agree
I totally agree I would love info on when these events happen.im in S.C. But my great grandparents were from a lil train stop near WHEELING WEST BYGOD VIRGINIA
Greetings from Ireland.
I just can't see enough, you are absolutely awesome
*Question from a mountain man (part Cherokee on Maw Maw Ida Tielking's side and part Lakota Sioux on daddy's side and part Irish on me mother's side) from Dawson, AL.~~~ Is there anything more delightful than a country/mountain-bred woman who knows her stuff? May the good Lord bless and keep you! ~Ben*
Never gets old
And for those who are wondering I believe this is technically known as Appalachian Flat-footin'
(Irish-American style) and is distinctly different than traditional Irish Step dance but very similar. Also distinctly different from Irish Appalachian Clogging yet similar. All three styles share steps that are common crossover steps that are primarily done the same way ... for example the windmill, cross-shuffle, side-shuffle, and single- or double-chugs.
The foundational base step is different in each style. The posture is similar. I love all three!
Clogging is probably the quickest and easiest to master. And better yet, it can be done while square-dancing, which is a real blast!
Love my culture.
Nothing to do with Ireland.
all were great, particularly liked the guy who danced 3rd... those crossovers were awesome. some of audience wanted to join in but lacked confidence I think.
That would be Mr. Maupin
I love watching these videos. 😊
*🌜Energía de la Buena🌛*
All so good!!
Bellissimo. Mi piacerebbe saperlo fare!
This stuff is addictive! Think I'm going to buy me a hardwood square, some shoes with plates and put the fiddle music on loop. I just love the understated, economical style of Papa Maupin and also the all action style of, (I think it was), Korey Josey but really, it's all great. You have a new fan downunder.
do it, but start slowly. Got dozens of instructional vids under a playlist on this channel

@@MissMoonshineDance C'est bien il ne faut pas perdre votre français. Vous devez avoir vos origines du Québec ? Moi je fais mon possible pour apprendre l'anglais. Ce n'est pas facile.
Kin somebody explain the diff between buck, clog, and tap? Confused.
buck=clog, almost. tap is more sophisticated.
Talent and sass from all of those soles!
I dont know why but i vibe with this on some other level. Suqidbillies hype.
