- This was a MUST WIN game for both Newcastle United & West Ham United in the Premier League race for European qualification. Eddie Howe's Toon Army have had a rollercoatser ride of a season with an insane unavailable list throughout the season while David Moyes still leads a divided fan base as they continue on in the Europa League with league results & performances beginning to falter. In this video I do live reaction & analysis on were this game was won and lost, the highlights, goals & VAR then discuss what the 4-3 win for Newcastle means for the rest of the season for both teams

Spot on analysis, this game just about sums up Newcastle season, more Injured, goals both scored and conceded, flustertion and hope, we love Eddie and his staff, hopefully given our canny run in we can get a European place, that would be another great consolation season after getting into the CL, PS would love to over take man u 😜
I wonder where we would be if we had scored the goals we have scored this season and conceded as few as last season
Funny how you mentioned the pen going Newcastle way but never mentioned the fact that they scored of playing on when Schar was down with a head injury
That's not a head injury mate come on...
Great video
If you kick someone anywhere on the pitch it is a foul . If you do it in the penalty area it is a penalty ! There is no point in saying that Phillips didn't mean it , can you see inside his brain and does that matter ?
Great stuff quinny
Thanks mate glad u enjoyed it!
As a newcastle fan I agree that by the spirit of the game that should never be a penalty. Unfortunately the spirit of the game was abandoned long ago in favour of exploiting every loophole and law. Referrees seem to have lost any power to distinguish and act accordingly.
The spirit of the game, what like their second goal, eh
@@markscouler2534 another example of taking advantage rather than playing to the spirit of the game
To be honest all three West Ham goals were due to poor defending
So biased, Gordon Vs Coufal was a mismatch, Schar on the floor when ref restarts play. Totally against refereeing protocol.
When do you ever see a game restart with a player down, you don't, so how can you say it's a goal
Schar took a slap in the face and tried to kid on it was a head injury. No room in the game for that, if it was Neymar it'd be meme central
@@Quinny3001 He took a slap to the face, it doesn't matter, when does a game restart when a player is down??? It doesn't , player safety comes first, when do you ever see a referee judge a possible head injury, they aren't doctors, it's unsporting and unprofessional.Ive only ever seen it one time before. 99.9% of time the player gets up match restarts, or player is treated goes off and play restarts.
Gordon gets a 2nd yellow for delaying restart, after Isak scores 2nd penalty, Fabianski grabs the ball and holds it to prevent restart
Soo biased, absolutely biased, not a penalty, you can't kick through players, he was slow on the ball and a clever player outsmarted him, it's a penalty all day
No bias here Mon Frére, I cover (and like) Newcastle way more than West Ham. If you change this situ to Gordon shooting and Phillips tackling him in that way, you wouldn't want a west ham freekick
