3:58 In case you're wondering why there're so many ships anchored off the coast of Singapore, it's cheaper for ships to anchor than to get a berth. Singapore lies at the tip of the busiest shipping channel of the world (the Straits of Malacca). There are thousands of ships going west carrying manufactured goods from Asia, and oil tankers/bulk ships going in the opposite direction.
