Meanwhile, in Mass Effect 3... Joker: "Well, let me know if you want me to get them on the channel and then hang up on them. You know, for old times sake."
im just trying to imagine hanging up on anderson or hackett inbetween missions earth and the rest of the galaxy are being invaded by reapers, the whole galaxy trying to unite to defeat them and shepards makes calls to someone who remained on earth, to fight the reapers and gather enough survivors, only for him to hang up that would be funny lol
I find the non-hang-up renegade options way funnier tbh. For example: Turian councilor: do you enjoy taking part in the genocide of a whole species?! Shepard: depends on the species... Turian.
I love hanging up on them especially if you don’t save them in the end. The final hang up on the council seems like a really dark joke if you hang up on them throughout the entire game. It’s like Shep got the last laugh on the people who kept standing in his way all game.
@@nunothedude its not based on dreams though its based on a vision while investigating an ancient beacon. If you are dealing with Alien technology and you get visions you should take that seriously. Particularly since the Protheins are known to use visions to communicate.

While everyone's talking about the "you know it" and "whoops" I'm just laughing my ass out at the "I don't need this" they way he says it just does it for me
Honestly, if I was a council member and Shepard didn't immediately say a smart ass remark then hang up and instead took the time to warn us about giant squid robots that wanna kill everyone, I'd believe him.
Even though I always fully commit to the Paragon route when I play the Mass Effect trilogy(Spacer, War Hero, all Paragon dialogue choices and Interrupts), I never get tired of watching Renegade clips of Shepard posted on UA-cam! They're too hilarious!
This is definitely one of those games that really needed a remaster. True classic in every way. Alot of folks are experiencing these amazing moments for the first time
Can't wait for you're in depth walkthrough for the most dangerous enemy in Mass Effect....... The Biotic God, gonna need at least 15 minutes to fully explain how to handle this majestic character without fearing his wrath.
On my Paragon runs the only time i disconnected was the report on Feros when the Salarian Councilor mentioned studying the Thorian (which is a stupid idea) and my Shepard says the only reason to study it would be to kill it and the Turian councilor said "ah yes kill it that's what you humans know best isn't it." i got triggered and disconnected, the Turian Councilor is the worst one of them, the Asari Councilor is at least willing to listen to you and the Salarian Councilor is the most understanding but screw the Turian councilor.
Punching Khalisah and hanging up on the council are the two things I do every playthrough regardless of Paragon/Renegade status. My Shepard hates political dishonesty and twisted narratives. Kinda like in real life.
I stayed true to how I would respond first time through. I let the whole communication play out the 1 at 2 times....then got tired of them hindering me and would hang up on them. Renegade play through I just ignored their calls entirely 😂
I like doing it when it makes sense, especially when Sparatus makes particularly inappropriate comments. Like when he accuses you of favouring humans when you save all the colonists on Feros.
I just picture them after being hung up on. Sparatus: The arrogance! The audacity! Tevos: What the hell, why would Shepard hang up on us? Valern: (who always struck me as the most self-aware of the three, despite the fact that he almost always sides with the council when they disagree with Shepard) Hmm. We're telling Shepard that they're deluded, that we can't listen to what they're saying and we've even considered luring Shepard back once we feel they've outlived their usefulness, I wonder why they'd cut us off when talking to them?
I do that everytime (exept for my first play through) and it never ceases to amuse me. They are incomplete enough as it is and every little one up I can get on them (even in my Paragon runs) is a win!
0:42 Probably my favorite Shepard reaction. Everyone's talking about when he says "Whoops!" and "You know it!" but the level of "I'm so done with your shit" when Shepard says he doesn't need this is just pure gold. Well done, male Shepard voice actor, whoever you are
I only hung up once since the Turian councillor was getting all obnoxious in this playthrough. That was a nice change... The LE has let me do some extra things I’ve never done before and taking the same route but having a different approach has actually been refreshing and fun!
"DON'T CUT US OFF AGAIN!!! YOU MUST GIVE US YOUR REPORT!!!!!" "Pardon me, my finger appears to have slipped onto the disconnect button once more." based shepard
I only did this after the Feros mission, because of the Turian councilor's comments, and the Virmire mission, because I think that's what Sherpard wanted to do since at that point she had both witnesses (the Asari scientist, the salarian commando and the squadmembers present when we talk to Sovereign) and backed up evidence (the second beacon and the fact Liara could explain how they work and why the Council must trust the visions) to prove the Reapers'existance, and they still refuse to listen, and Sherpard, affected by Kaindan's death, just couldn't take the Council's skepticism anymore.
I’ve always wondered if we select no on the Normandy if we can talk to them in person on the citadel. But I’ve always been to scared about missing the dialogue to try lol
How importing save works from game to game? I'm not talking about decision but for example minerals found in me1 or me2 have some impact in next games? Me2 ship upgrades have effect in me3?
Hey Dan. Unrelated to this video, just thought I'd post it under the latest :) I see you usually using (what I think is an) assault rifle with somekind of blast shield. What weapon is that?

The Turian Councillor in Mass Effect 1 is Sparatus or something like that.

That sounds like a perfect idea for an April Fools video xD
The best part is that you have to choose to take their call in the first place just to hang up on them.
Shepard: Patch them through Joker they need to know.
Also Shepard: Ah, looks like we lost the signal.
The absolute balls of steel Renegade Shep has to call the fucking presidents of space and essentially prank call them
This never gets old, does it?
the idea of Joker with his finger hovering over the kill switch waiting for Shepherd's go ahead is comedy gold
After ME2, they 100% deserve it.
