He was a brown belt when he died(almost a black) brown is still quite dangerous but he used simple moves closed guard to guillotine(the simple moves are the best)
At 2:34 Brian takes Roman’s back (pretty much game over if the other person doesn’t know bjj) and then camera angle changes and suddenly Roman is back on top of him. If you look closely elsewhere Paul is winning little battles everywhere in this scene. But it’s low-key and harder to notice making the scene quite enjoyable
@Josh Miller we must be talking about different systems. Walker trained in brazillian jiu jitsu which is newaza from judo greatly expanded by the Gracie family in Brazil. The adult belts are white, blue, purple, brown, black. I know ive been training this system for a couple of years.
If this was F&F 20, they both would've drawn swords, started doing flips and swings in the air, until they both clash their blades, look at eachothers eyes until Brian says "I don't want to fight you Roman !" and then Roman says "shut up" and they start doing flips again, until the officer pulls out a captain america shield, throws it a them bouncing on both of them and flies back right at him and says "that's enough !"
They watered down his character from Fast5 onwards, since Vin didnt want 2 alphas on screen at the same time. Vin was the one who put the calls in, to make sure Tyrese didnt appear too badass on camera.
I don't think he really beat Vince, it seemed like they were both having their moments, one shot had Brian on top, another shot had Vince on top. It just so happened that Brian was having his moment when Dom pulled him off Vince
I like the part where in the 1st movie he's very strict towards Brian and LAPD about Dom's case but here on 2nd movie he's very chill towards everyone including those incompetent custom agents. Too bad he wasn't on the 4th film, it's gonna be perfect for him to be part of FBI with Brian on that movie
