Norwegian Epic Balcony Room 12288 Pros and Cons!

Just got back from a Caribbean cruise on The Norwegian Epic from San Juan, Puerto Rico to the Dutch Antilles (Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, St. Lucia, St. Kitts).
I wasn't a big fan of my room at 1st glance, as the bathroom situation is very strange as everything is separated, (shower, toilet and sink). when you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you will wake up whomever is in the room with you as the bathroom is only separated from the bedroom by a curtain. If you are loud in the bathroom then everyone will hear everything as there is no privacy.
The shower is very small to maneuver around. It is not comfortable at all.
When the ship reaches port, it seems the whole ship rattles and wakes you up.
The service and amenities were great on the Epic.

Great walk thru. I have seen many videos on these weird cabins. Yours was the best! It makes me glad I will be by myself when I sail on the Epic next year. LOL

Pretty much all cruise ships have tiny "transporter tube" showers unless a higher class of stateroom... :)

I disagree.
I have been on ships that had showers as big as regular apartment showers on regular staterooms
