But there was a lot of competition from other Aussie bands e.g. ACDC, Midnight Oil, INXS, Cold Chisel/Jimmie Barns, The Screaming Jets, the Angels, Crowded House etc. all still in their prime and all competing with American bands on the charts who were also in their prime like the RHCP, Bon Jovi, Guns and Roses, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Brian Adams, U 2 (U K) etc.
I lived in Australia very briefly when I was a kid, and this song and video takes me straight back to being 7 and watching Ten Video Hits in our house in Adelaide :)
