John Black is an economic geologist with more than 30 years of exploration experience in the Americas, Central Asia, the SW Pacific, and Eastern Europe/Western Asia. His professional credentials include a B.Sc. degree in Geology from Stanford University in 1983 and an M.S. degree in Geology - Ore Deposits Exploration from the same University in 1988. He currently serves as the CEO of Aldebaran Resources.
Aldebaran Resources is drilling the Altar copper-gold project, which hosts a cluster of porphyry deposits in Argentina.
CDFund Discovery Day 2024:
On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the fund organized the fourth edition of the CDFund Discovery Day at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam. Eight exploration companies, developers and producers carefully selected by the fund presented their projects and told all about raw materials such as gold, copper and zinc found and/or extracted there.
