That moment showed the AFL at their absolute stupidest. The Kangaroos were forced to reverse the change and make another. Think about that. Your penalty for making an additional substitution - an unfair advantage - is to get to give the rested player a chance back on the ground. If the ball is, say, in your own 50 and you are leading instead of right by your opponent goal this is totally worth it. Rest your best defender for a minute while the 50m penalty is paid and then they can waltz back on to help you hold the lead. And it’s not like you would make the player on illegally rush, just a gentle jog, to give your whole team a chance to rest. Utterly stupid. A much better penalty: any additional player sent on after the 75 changes is pulled off the ground *and* the opposing captain elects a player to leave the ground with them. Neither player is replaced because there are no more changes.
@@HorizonOfHope Are you saying that if a team breaches 75 changes, then both the team who made the 76th change and the opposing team both go down to 17 players? How is that fair?
Great video, I think your style will suit a video about different fanbases and there culture. A example being the eagles vs bombers “waving scarfs” rivalry

West Coast has had 5 draws in history. 1990 vs Collingwood in the qualifying final probably cost them the Premiership, 1992 vs Brisbane likely helped giving them a week off and straight into the Grand Final defeating Geelong in the 2nd semi. 2 draws in 2003 playing against Geelong and the Bulldogs on a 117% cost the Eagles top 4. Lastly 2015 the draw against Gold Coast possibly altered the finals, where they could have won the flag in a derby Grand Final?
