Back here in September 2021 revisiting Melissa's concerts from home. They still mean alot after all this time. Here in Victoria Australia we are again in lockdown as we are having our worst outbreak ever. Victoria is the most locked down place on earth and we are all having a ridiculously hard time. Thankyou to the arts and entertainment for playing a part in getting us throw these times.
Future here - 2024/07. Found Melissas home recordings just recently. I listened to her songs in the late 80ies, early 90ies day and night. Yes, 2020 were crazy times. And I felt SO sorry for all the musicians and other artists. Even though I am a heavy metal guy, I got tears in my eyes when I saw my favorite bands doing their best playing at home. No crowd surfing, no headbanging, no smell of sweat and beer. Right now today, Taylor Swift is playing in Munich, close to my home town. And not being a 'Swifty' I still enjoy the joy that thousands of young people have, listening, cheering, having a good time. Music is such an important part of our live. And now it's crazy again. As Melissa said: We've been through many strange times...
I have seen over 50 concerts in every genre. She is by far the best live concert I have ever attended. Also, Occasionally is my FAVORITE live song. (New Haven Coliseum 94-95)
Melissa, my Dad was a huuuuge fan. He died of Cancer on your 12th day. I'm starting to be able to finish watching em, finally. He would've loved these more than I can express. As do my lil brother, Aaron, and I. Keep on Jammin through it all. So much is your all... Love!
