You coulda maxinized your relationship woth your friends. If you notices there is almost like a gauge around the button and if its green you maximized it. You also do that with you hobby and partner. At the end of the game if you have green happiness you would have a different "He was..." clip instead of the one with you in the bus. This also works with red happiness.
