Actually I think it’s kinda neat because it’s like that in the Judge Dredd comics. Travelling thought the emptiness of the Cursed Earth until you see the sky piercing spires of Mega City One on the horizon. Amazing
Its exactly what it should look like. Nothing fancy, it gets virtually zero riders all year except for a few days out of the year when events are going on

nice, in 25 years this line will be a busy line, will be part of normal life to ride on this to airport.

That Uplands stations feels like the project went overbudget and it got all the cuts

To add to the other comments: Uplands actually got upgraded during design. Initially was supposed to be a ramp, no elevators!
