Ah, Kim Deal in a mid-90s Volvo wagon. That makes perfect sense actually. Must be an 850. Weird 5 cylinder engine, reasonably powerful without sacrificing efficiency, runs forever, and is pretty safe in a crash. Yeah, that totally checks out. I bet she still drives it today.
Normally I would be turned off by a couple of midwestern gals dropping names like they had shallow pockets...but the Deals are for "for realz"(lame#1....?) Love the Deal sisters. I saw the Amps back in 94. Modern bands are cursed to adhere to "electronic music rules", can't be cool or show emotion/skill without over-emoting or being a metal-inspired act...or just being an electronic noise affair. Loud/beautiful is hard to sell these days. The Deal sisters "deal"(lame name ref #2) with noise and melody whilst putting out loud and beautiful music. I hope they continue to tour/preach the gosphel. Even "woke" folks need an "a-woke-ning" sometimes? Or at least that's what grandpa sez.
Sorry but Kelly has maintained her beauty better than Kim, and she always have been the most beautiful, but really Kim drank too much beer and smoked cigarettes,
