During Coco’s graduation I cried like never before and everything felt rough and unfair… but seeing this for the first time, a little more than a day since she left, I can’t stop myself from smiling. This is not only a testament to Coco’s impact on fans and the world around her, but also the creativity found in people. I think it’s a beautiful video and I feel the need to say thank you for making me smile once more…
Ah man. Kiryu Coco. Absolute legend. I only wish I was able to appreciate at the time what she was doing, and fully understand just what made her a legend. I only caught on at the very end, and I absolutely dig what she stood for. I realize now how much she's owed even for those who weren't direct fans. She was able to pave the way forwards for so many of the talents I enjoy watching by not just breaking the mold, but nuking it into f***ing low earth orbit. Something that was much needed. Even if I could only watch from a distance, there's no end to the respect I have here. Even though her final stream literally had to happen and conclude like 2 hours before I woke up for work, denying me the chance to be there for the big event. What I've seen made it clear how much she's affected people, how far the love for her went... and most importantly, what brings me a smile is that I know for sure that neither she nor what she stood for is ever going to be forgotten.
