- Travelling around Brittany in their motorhome has been a dream adventure for Pete and Shel and as their trip reaches it's closing stages they are headed toward Caen but find time to visit Predehel ans St Hilaire du Harcouet on the way. The stop-overs, by lakes and ponds in both places, are idyllic. Aires are plentiful and cheap in Brittany making it easy to visit beautiful villages. Traveling in a motorhome or camper van in France is a dream as the trip continues in vanlife Brittany

Hi there, It's super news that you are heading off to Brittany. We had such a lovely time. We tend to stay away from big cities and tourist hotspots, but sometimes, if there's a particular sight you want to see, you have to face the crowds and the very touristy vibe.. We just like to take it slow and meet people. At the start of our trip, Brittany was overwhelming. There are so many nice places to see and you can't see them all. It's like a lucky dip!
