In 2009 Trump publicly said he was a supporter of abortion rights as a matter of women’s choice. In an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Trump was asked whether he would ban abortions, He said he would not, and that he is “pro-choice in every respect.”
That doesn't matter to trump supporters. They can glide right past that with the fake news claim. He told them not to believe what they heard or saw and they followed orders. Like good little Nazis
What I don't know if most people get about Roe being overturned after Dems losing the 2016 presidential & both house of congress + a ton of important state elections is that - the result would have been the same in SCOTUS no matter who won the Republican Primary.
Romney (think he ran in 2016), Trump, all of them would have followed Mitch McConnell & the Federalist Society's far right ideological nominees - and if one of them was even a bit "moderate" - we'd still be with the insane court opinions we have today. They planned it for decades.
He also said that he would run as a Republican because they’re stupid and they literally behave as if he didn’t insult them!! Very disturbing!

I just googled the name of that Agatha Christie book 😱. I deal with racist BS everyday, but i don’t think I’ve ever seen that word printed in such large font before. It was honestly shocking.

Unfortunately there's a lot of this sort of thing about.
For example, Christie's novel was published in 1939. Seven years before this, in 1932, "Ambrose & his Orchestra" recorded "The Sun Has Got His Hat On". The song included the line "he's been tanning ni***rs out in Timbuktu".... The lyrics have since been changed, however, you can still find the original version on UA-cam.
Then there's the 1939 movie Gone With the Wind which opens with a statement lamenting the end of slavery referring to it as a "dream remembered". This message was repeated several times in the first season of TV show The Golden Girls (1985-1993) by the southern character Blanche Devereux....Also in 1985 Dire Straits released their single "Money for Nothing" which includes the lines
"see the little f**got with the earing and the make-up..
That little f**got got his own jet airplane. That little f**got he's a millionaire"
As I said before, there's a lot of this sort of thing about.

Wow! Just looked up the Agatha Christie novel. Doesn’t surprise me, considering England’s history of racism etc.
Back then, as with the US "Ten little indians" it was a cultural reference to an 1869 song and illustration set- part of the plot was the methods of death being loosely tied to those in the song, the rhyme being in a frame on the wall, and ten figurines on display... one disappearing for each death. The deaths being of white people, re-interpreting her intent in the title per the current context is unkind.
Within two minutes I heard about three of Trump's abortions.
