The "is this security" line is actually pretty realistic. I work security and the amount of times I hear this after I state that I am security is staggering.
To be fair they often say it super fast and with the ol' ADD I just want to confirm I'm at the right place. Add to this that sometimes the quality of the call is total shit and I've been waiting 15 minutes, my mind wandering elsewhere, and have to snap back to reality as quickly as I can... However I'll admit I'm dumb when it comes to voicemails. Even with practice I screw them up!😄
Indeed. That's why every time I leave my house, I lock cats in every cabinet. So just in case, anyone breaks in, there are cat-scares aplenty waiting for them.
The movie is going to take place entirely in artificial virtual alternate reality and the vampires are going to be capable of mind hacking, but they have to yell "YOU ARE DONE" for it to activate. Neil Breen is the only one immune to the psycho alternate epidemic and can reverse mind hack the vampires by yelling "NO, YOU ARE DONE" back at them. A true masterpiece of modern fiction, 1000/10.
The naval officer was like what's going on in here. After all those gunshots he came in there with no backup. 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ But maybe the budget of the movie couldn't afford backup.
I was a kid in the '80s and a friend of mine had a house full of Clappers. Literally every room. One day, he got in huge trouble with his dad, who proceeded to give him a spanking. The lights were going mental. I couldn't stop laughing for about 3 days.
@Ultra CNC ah yes, back when you could simply hit your children instead of disciplining them in other effective ways that would cultivate mutual respect and instill sensibility in the first place. who cares about healthier forms of discipline that don't involve turning to hitting or grounding constantly, am I right? what horrid times we live in.
The sequence at the beginning where the criminal gets tossed out of the house trailer probably has something to do with the fact that that actor, Lyle Waggoner, ran a company renting those trailers out to film productions.
@aaronsdavis He was an actor who went into trailer rentals. He was famous for being Wonder Woman's male partner/love interest in the old TV series. I have the opposite interpretation as you; I think they probably wanted him in their film for 'a name', and agreed to work one of his trailers into the plot if he'd do a scene.
I had a game called mind trap. I had a teacher in high school (2000) that would put trivia questions on the board. If you got the question right you didn't have to take the quiz at the end of the week and got an instant 100. After a couple of weeks he posted a question that I recognized. Once I knew where his questions were coming from it made it very easy to have the right answer every week. Thanks Mind Trap!
@@H3M0N I have that game in a box in my house. I remember like 3 separate times growing up reading some of the cards, and it pissed me off every time. I probably haven't looked at them in like 15 years at this point, but I recall being convinced it was just insanely cryptic to the point there's no way anyone could play it for fun. I'm gonna have to dig it out and read some again and try it again. I remember the box had a black background with blue lightning, and iirc there was some Christian book series I remember seeing kids from church read that had an almost identical cover(like it even had the same font for the titles), and for the longest time I was convinced the two were connected in some way lol
I don’t get why this channel don’t have more subs? This is one of my favorite channels! Mark is funny as hell and has 10 times more talent than anyone else that reviews movies. Not enough content maybe??? Don’t know? Makes no sense.
The way he says "alright" and casually gives this little approving nod after she begs for one more second really cracked me up. I'm still giggling like an idiot. Unintentionally perfect comedic timing by coincidence. Beautiful!
You’re not going to point point out the fact that that’s 70’s TV heartthrob Lyle Waggoner in the opening scene? And he JUST died on March 17th too (that’s 2020 for anyone reading this from THE FUTURE). He was a regular on The Carol Burnett Show, The Love Boat, and played opposite Lynda Carter in Wonder Woman as Steve Trevor.
This is earlier; so Neil Breen has been trying to recreate the beauty of Mindtrap his whole career, but with extra added in taint, balls, and corruption mindtraps for originality.
I love that this channel exists. I tried other good and bad movie review channels but Idk why exactly, but I really don’t find myself going back to them like this one. They even review many of the same movies Mark does. Mark makes quality/time efficient content that incorporates his simplistic humor. Also some funny point of views that I feel very familiar with in my time growing up with my group friends-without being hyper critical or laughing at his own jokes. (I usually hate that) Also his content isn’t all over produced and “flashy” to compensate due to lack of and doesn’t really have “fluff or filler” gaps that can stagnate the viewers experience. Definitely takes me back to the “simpler times” golden years of UA-cam when it wasn’t so clic-baity and commercialized. The quality over quantity era when UA-cam began evolving into what it is today. (The good and the bad) I’m glad to see he’s uploading again. Keep up the great work mark!!✌🏼
@@BrokeNerfing it differs from province to province; everyone's under quarantine and protocol but few are under mandatory lockdown for right now. I think Mark's from the East so depending if he's in a big city or not, he might be under harsher regulations than others. hope he's okay, though. I mean, sucks that there's a horrific pandemic occurring that'll have devastating effects worldwide, but on the other hand... new consistent content from Mark. so... win some lose some? 😬

I use the auto-generated closed captions sometimes because I'm old and can't hear. More often than not it makes these movies even better: WOMAN WITHOUT SHIRT: ... That's what keeps you in touch with the 90s, sire. MAN WITH SHIRT: Absolutely. The woman was in the dream room in the beginning, trapped in the dream, and the only way to get out of the dream was to find the dream room and begin the dream. That's why she disappeared. It's like a super early inception.
I think this was also a quality test for audio recorders at three price points, entry level, pro grade, and a tape recorder someone found laying around the equipment rental center.
This is the best Fanboy movie yet. It has everything: Legendary triple-negatives, a dream room, Grizzly Adams, crippling apple addictions, voluntary finger amputations, bad Russian accents, The Clapper, a guy named "Mojo," air horns and of course, so many Mind Traps!
Shana, seemingly, at the end of the movie, time traveled into the future, specifically prior to stardate 48315.6, on Cardassia, eventually ending up in the Delta quadrant.
This is the most mind-blowingly weird film I've ever watched. Also, don't quote me on this, but I'm 95% sure that the cat in Mind Trap is the same cat actor from Earth Girls Are Easy. That cat pops up in a lot of late 80s movies actually.
According to imdb, Shana is played by Martha Kincare, who has no other credits to her name. Anybody else think that's Martha Hackett (Seska from Star Trek Voyager)?

(6) Explosions (7) a love interest who works for the other side. These are just a few similarities I notice. I'm sure there's many more.
The "What key? I'm going to keep an eye open for that key" part, sounds like early resident evil dialog.
