Just started my autaCAD class today! I’d love to know ur opinion on a computer best for Interior Design school because I think I may need to get a laptop for this semester, my professor doesn’t recommend Mac which is what I have now & it is already giving me an issue /: love your videos a lot thank you for sharing !

Hello Andrea, just found on YT!!! Im truly grateful for all the content you are sharing. I'm at my 1st year at BCIT, transitioning from a 12 year finance career... and your videos are very assertive and are helping me a lot! Hope you do the computer and laptop video. Im at this phase right now... do not want a desktop, and my macbook pro is not taking care of the heavy programs such as auto cad and sketch up.

whats the most common "type" of perspective drawing used in design? 1 point, 2 point etc.
I see more people doing one perspective than two perspective, for interior spaces I find it easier and faster to do one perspective, though two perspective is used a lot for exterior buildings and architecture. Hope that helps ✨

Your welcome ✨. I would prefer to have a laptop before I get an IPad since I work with softwares that are quite limited on the iPad (autocad, photoshop, etc). I always think of a computer as a necessity and the iPad more of a luxury. Hope that helps ✨

There is a Channel called sketchup essentials it’s pretty good but the only thing is that it’s not very focused in interior design

I am currently deciding whether or not to major in a interior design career. Although it looks exciting and cool to work in , it also seems very challenging. When you work for a firm do they typically give you big projects for you to do on your own, or do you work as a team to finish that project?
Hi, normally when you work in a company you are doing projects in collaboration with other designers, it’s not likely you will be responsible for an entire project, unless you have years of experience then it would be possible, but even so, other designers also check your work and give feedback so yes I would say it’s always teamwork

I only know of theinteriordesigninstitute.ca which offers interior design courses online, it’s Canadian.
Can you really read drawings very accurate?
What would be the best book or video to learn to draw one and two point perspective?
I learned from a book called Architectural Graphics by Francis Ching, and also watching UA-cam tutorials. Hope that helps✨
