There is probably more to it chances are only fizz and blitzo's mom were the only two important to him and maybe that's why he adopted loona because she was going through something blitzo went through too

I think he was mostly angry at Blitzø not because of the accident but because Blitzø feeling guilty had abandoned his best friend at his worst state for FIFTEEN YEARS never tried to explain things later. Of course Fizz felt hurt by "betrayal". I'm sure Verosika will forgive Blitzø too if he stops calling her bitch and apologizes to her (Updated 23.06.24 - Yay it happened!) As for Barbie - she's just as stubborn as her brother so approaching her is gonna be difficult
The fact that he cries after his former friend accuses him of being envious and leaving him for dead is what makes it sad. His mother’s implied death makes it even sadder.
I love how guilty gizz lookswhen blitz mentions "You have NO idea what I lost in that fire..." Face reads as "Aaah fuck, that right, his mother...he wasent intentionally leaving me, he was...running to save his actual family..."
Few details: 1) the card fizz is given says “wish you were my son” from Blitzs dad, and 2) the card blitz had says “for fizzs eyes only” a heart and has some kind of flower. Maybe blitz had feelings for fizz and seeing him with his dad made him turn away. Regardless, I think the dad is the main source of all of blitz’s problems. His dad is seen running out (and maybe Barbie is there, in the tutu? Hard to tell if it’s just another imp with a similar emblem) but regardless, I don’t think we’re done with this moment. I don’t know if his dad is still alive but I have a feeling blitz may go to his dad to take out some pent up feelings(aka kill him)
His dad is definetly the one that caused the rift between Blitz and his sister and Fizz. He either believes that Blitz started the fire on purpose or hes lying to get back at Blitz for the accident. Either way hes definetly the one that pulled the strings, which is why Barbie and Fizz hated Blitz guts so much
Definitely his dad. He was also one of the first ones to run out of the tent, completely abandoning Fizz and Blitzø. Then when he visited Fizz in the OR and tried to save his own ass, he blamed Blitzø and therefore killed their friendship for 15 years.
I find it ironic. In the previous episode, Blitz wanted to reconnect with his sister, but she wanted nothing to do with him. In this episode, both Fizz and Blitz wanted nothing to do with each other, but ended up reconciling.
I loved how fizz realised how blitz was genuinely sad about what happened. Not only did he realised that he didn't mean any of this to happen, but it also looks like he realised that blitz lost his mother in the fire and that is why he ran away.
Fizzie could see immediately that he was wrong about him when he saw tears in Blitzo's eyes. The face he gave when Blitzo said he hated himself was one of "oh god, you really didn't mean to hurt me..."

It's been confirmed for a while now that the white skin on Imps is scar tissue. In short, Fizz's entire body, save for his nose, was scarred by the fire. This does make me wonder.. Are those freckles on Moxxie's face, or scars? And what's with Barbie's almost ritualistic-looking markings?
@@HunhowsShadowStalker Well, we know that Fizz and Blitzo both have PTSD from the fire and Barbie was most likely in it as well, both Blitzo and Barbie lost their mom, and most of Barbie's markings are thin scars on her arms, so...
@@Ie_Shima Yes, but Barb's scars look less like burns and more like cuts, and they're pretty symmetrical across her body, which only happens if they were applied on purpose.
I could actually feel the frustration of Blitzø,the way he still was unable to explain his emotions, that he was stuck inside an endless loop for his accidental sins. Remember that In an earlier episode we learn that when blitzo is not using any kind of vulgar language no cursing/swearing and no sexual innuendos is when he's being 100% sirious and honest
For me the “well I mean I do hate-“ line hits because he finally opened up(well at least was about to). We all know that Blitz hates himself, but other characters have to know too, so that they can help him.
After everything we've seen of Fizz before this. It was really weird but cool to see Fizz's expressions suddenly so genuine, concerned and baffled. Because usually he holds his smug or goofy expressions.
The fact that Blitzo got cut off from admitting that he does hate himself for the accident hurts. But also who keeps fireworks in a flammable tent in the first place?
I like the fact how Fizz was able to forgive Blitz without any struggle. I think it’s very realistic and relatable when compared to real life fuck-ups.
That shit was as brutal and heartbreaking as I thought it would. Best episode of the season hands down. Also love how each perspective is show. Fizz’s being not completely accurate and Blitz’s being the honest truth.
I really hope in the future we'll get a similar episode with Blitzo and Verosika. I doubt all their problems can be solved in one conversation but it would be nice to see them both on the path to reconciliation.
I was just thinking or hoping for this too, seeing how the theme seems to be lately is growth and overcoming trauma, bettering relationships, first fizz then hopefully verosika then maybe end with his sister.
This broke my heart completely hearing Bliz saying he did care and I started crying when Bliz said what he lost in the fire. That's completely heartbreaking losing their mother.
I think people (Blitz included) put far too heavy fault on Blitz for what happened,it wasn't on purpose,it could have happened to anyone shit is accidentally happened to blitz (and as the "black sheep" of the family of course everyone would gang up on him),Blitz tried to help he tried to see if his friends and family were okay even if he was hurt too. Also i have the feeling Barbie only likes to put all that heavy blame on Blitz coz it's easier than admitting she kinda screwed herself too (the drug addiction and shit),bc Fizz lost almost HIS WHOLE FUCKING BODY and yet he understands that was a accident and with enough persistence he surpassed that.
Yeah, it'd be one thing if it was an act of deliberate sabotage that spiraled out of control. But no, it was a genuine accident that was made worse due to surroundings that were a fire hazard to begin with.
Tbf, we don't know enough about the Barbie/Blitzo situation to actually make a reasonable judgment. Like hypothetically speaking, if Blitzo is the one who got her addicted to drugs, that would be a hell of a lot worse and more targeted than starting a fire 1000% on accident. Playing the Pain Olympics is also just not great in general, as everyone deals with pain and tragic circumstances differently, and have different capacities for handling hardship. It doesn't make them better or worse people, it just is.
@@bluebay1031 I'm not saying pain Olympics is good but to shift the blame of your shit on someone else is fucked up,Blitz even put Barbie in a rehabilitation facility so she could stop the drugs she probably started as way to forget about her mom but somewhere along the way it probably became easier to shift the blame of everything to Blitz (and let's be honest this happens a lot on real life as well)
The only fault of Blitzø is that he had abandoned his best childhood friend at his worst state, believed in every word of his shitty father and didn't even try to talk it over for FIFTEEN years! Blitzø knew clearly that Fizz somehow got over his physical trauma and became successful and famous despite every misfortune and still he never made an attempt. More to say he called RoboFizz a "sold-out", in that episode after Fizz sarcastically stating that his horns were bigger Blitzø tackled Fizz to the ground. He only Spoke about that accident a loud because of outcoming circumstances.
Now it makes sense why Blitzo hates himself so much. He killed his mom and maimed his best friend. It was an accident, but it was his fault for being bitter instead of being happy for his friend. To be honest I would have probably committed suicide with that amount of guilt on my shoulders.
Considering this is probably why Barbie despises Blitzø, with Fizz now knowing it was an accident amd even showing signs of forgiving him I believe if they both talk to her about it together they could start gaining back the bonds they lost. This is something I genuinely wanna see happen
When Blizt said that he did care, this truly means that he had been hiding his true feelings for a long time when someone break him to get it out of his chest that he never had his true feelings come out as he suffered from the past that he lost his mother. He care for others so much that he doesn’t want them to get hurt from his mistakes but he felt like he was the blame for everything that happened and he wanted to tell them how much he love them but too afraid in case something terrible happened like Fizz and Stolas went through. He regret of hurting them and wished he could be brave enough to tell them that…
this episode was so great and emotional. i was so happy to see Blitzø finally get a W and make up w/ his old childhood friend. their embrace at the end made me tear up and audibly go "Awwww~!!" i hope future episodes will show more interactions of their reforged friendship 🥹
“They told me YOU didn’t want to see me!!” “I never said that!!” “Bullshit, you didn’t?” “No….and no one told me YOU came!!” Both: “…..Ooooohhh….” Cash is literally the worst. He disowned Blitzø for the accident and denied him any contact with his only friend at that time after he was hurt. He made Fizz believe that Blitzø was selfish and trying to get rid of him. It’s solely because of Cash that Blitzø and Fizz had their whole feud to begin with
Honestly, it does go to show what good communication can do and I can't express enough how much I like that. In stories you have daft shit happen and no one talks about it so nothing gets resolved. Fifteen years of bad blood being mended because of a conversation that clears up everything and now they can both begin healing.
This backstory makes the ending of Ozzie’s even more sad having Blitzo seeing the pic of him, Barbie Wire, and his mother after knowing she died in the fire.
I think before this accident, when Blitz and Fizz were at Mammon's concert, Mammon asked Fizz to work for him. But Fizz refused to leave the circus without Blitz. Then Mammon, when Fizz was in the hospital, bribed the workers so that they would not allow Blitz to see Fizzarolli and then Mammon convinced Fizz that Blitz had abandoned him and he started working for him
Anyone else notice in fizz’s flash back he only saw blitz in the fire. While in blitz’s flash back you see other imps running all over the place. Or how nervous Fizz looked at Bltiz’s out burst before he revealed his side of the story. And why is not one talking about how Blitz almost admited to hating himself?
So maybe this is why he constantly pushes people away from him, even though he craves for their love. He believes that he might not deserve any kind of love, both because of his father’s abuse and because he accidentally killed his mother and maimed his best friend. He hurts people to avoid to being hurt by guilt, even if it would turn into a vicious cycle, a self fulfilling prophecy To be fair, I won’t blame him if he might think so. Such trauma is no laughing matter
1:19 The way Fizz looks at Blitz says a lot. Unlike Blitz, Fizz never blamed or hated himself for what happened because he knew that regardless of how much he was favored over Blitz, nothing would justify causing the fire had it really been intentional. Blitz on the other hand? He knew that the whole thing was an accident from the very beginning and STILL loathed himself all those years. And I think Fizzarolli understood that. I truly believed that Fizzarolli never actually stopped caring about Blitz, but the genuine hatred he felt for him after the circus fire clouded that. Heck, I wholeheartedly believe that ridiculing Blitz in "Ozzie's" didn't give him as much pleasure as he thought it would.
I hope this gets fully expanded upon that in another epsiode. This entire flashback could have been its own episode; there's so much that happened so fast.
1:16 that part was very Emotional. Fizz always thought that Blitz left him like he didn't care for him and to die. But after realizing that Blitz was running to save his mother only to fail and lost her, Fizz felt sorry and sympathize for him.
So the new question becomes; who told these two the other didn't want to see them? Someone took complete advantage of that accident to break Fizz and Blitz up.
The main theory is most likely Blitzo’s dad mostly because we’ve seen that he’s a horrible dad and that he raises Fizz higher than Blitzo. Even going as far as to think that Fizz is more important than Blitzo as Fizz is better at tricks than Blitzo
@@randomfan4966 that would have to be purely out of spite then since Fizz's injuries would have left him unable to perform until he got his prosthetics.
@@Asher_Tye Then it would probably be Mammon. Fizz was already a rising star; so the Prince of Greed would have bought Fizz and supplied him and Asmodeus with his new body.
I do think Mammon had something to do with Fizz and Blitzo's relationship falling apart. Mammon was the one who first helped put Fizz back together with robotic limbs. And he probably wanted Fizz because he was so talented and was becoming famous.
I've mentioned this before that this episode was one of the best ones in the second season of Helluva Boss due to a number of reasons. Props does go out to the performances of Brandon Rogers (Blitzo) and Alex Brightman (Fizzarolli). This episode goes to show what kind of a character Blitzo is. And in the end, due to a large misunderstanding, Blitzo and Fizz began to become best friends shortly afterwards.
I actually don’t blame Blitz, many will disagree with me, but looking at him and looking at how he was seen by many, like a no one/failure especially by his father, for me it’s understandable his feelings. Sure the fire just started because he pushed the guy who happened* to have the cake with the candles, but he didn’t mean to ruin so many lifes, he didn’t mean to hurt fizz, and now everytime he looks at himself he has a reminder of that day, like physically. (Who wouldn’t remember such accident💀)
I feel so bad for all the guilt he must feel. almost killing your best friend, killing your mom, and killing many people. I just bet hes feels so bad for it. I couldn't imagine what hes going through.
Judging by the card in Blitz’s hand, it’s safe to say that he had a crush on Fizz but after seeing the “Wish you were my son” card he ran away but pushed the cake guy starting the fire
@@Juline211 remember when Blitzø told Fizz “they said you didn’t want to see me” and Fizz responded by telling Blitzø that he never told them that and “that they never told me you came” I assume them might’ve been Ozzie’s scubas and/or incubus servants

Im guessing! Now that Fizz and Blitz have reconciled, Ozzie and Fizz may or may not be of help in patching up the wedge between Stolas and Blitz, since the Ozzie and Fizz seem to understand the two better
If you notice fizz has a bit of red on his nose. That’s cause he had the clone nose on when he got blown up so it was un damaged so it stayed red while everywhere else on his body turned white cause he was blown up. Net detail.
I think the criticism of this episode feeling rushed is a bit unfounded for Helluva Boss formula so far. The show it self follows a more episodic approach where each story for the most part, is self contained in each episodes. We really havent had multipart episodes, conveying a deeper plot or deeper narrative outside of the deeper plot between the interpersonal character relations. Many characters tend to be one off splits...and i personally feel that this episode serves as more of an elaboration on how these deep standing tramuas can form. What fizz and blitz lacked was closure, they felt isolated, and were from the suggested lines... separated. They had nothung but their own perspectives to fill in the blanks for each of their own tramuas. What this episode does is elaborate on why Blitzø is the way he is, what happened to him to cause so many ti reject him, and why its seemingly impossible for him to come to terms that he can be liked. Blitz has isolated himself in a prison of his own making, and has been denied closure for so long. Even as he seeks forgiveness he cannot forgive himself. What this episode does, is give the viewers a new understanding of Blitzø, and allow us to see the bigger picture of everything that the characters cannot. Blitzø becomes a more sympathetic character and is given a second chance with his first crush, and ex bestfriend fizz. It also gives everyones favorite clown, more character. A deeper narrative than just some partner at Ozzy's that is totally not in love with him. We see now just how far Ozzy and Fizz care for each other. Even more so than in the season finale part 1 of season 1. While the epaiosde might seem rushed cause of how swlf contained it is, i still think it meets all the marks it needs for the formula they have for their story. And shows us, that blitzø has the capacity to change...and hopefully, helps him get new insights for his own character development.
Wow, these two actually went through a fucked up day on that day and when they mention that no one went to see him and when they told blitz he didn’t want to see him I wonder someone wanted them to get mad at each other someone plotted this what if there’s a character we don’t know yet that is trying to fucked up their lives and less it was just some misunderstanding or something like that😭😥😔🤔🃏

Now I want to know who tried to keep them apart. A lot of people think it was Buckzo or just the survivors of the circus in general, but it's also a theory that Mammon tried to keep them apart when he decided to use Fizz for branding and thought his past in the circus, or just Blitzo in general, would hold him back.

I don’t know if his dad is still alive but I have a feeling blitz may go to his dad to take out some pent up feelings(aka kill him)
1:05 Yep, it’s her.
@@gabrieljvelez-perez9275That’s not Barbie. That imp has black and white horns, while Barb’s are completely black
@@DemaadNah that imp has male horns
Barbie was in the draft but not in the final, she was running out of the tent
His dad is definetly the one that caused the rift between Blitz and his sister and Fizz. He either believes that Blitz started the fire on purpose or hes lying to get back at Blitz for the accident. Either way hes definetly the one that pulled the strings, which is why Barbie and Fizz hated Blitz guts so much
Definitely his dad. He was also one of the first ones to run out of the tent, completely abandoning Fizz and Blitzø. Then when he visited Fizz in the OR and tried to save his own ass, he blamed Blitzø and therefore killed their friendship for 15 years.
Brandon Rogers poured his heart and soul into this scene so heartbreaking to watch this part of the episode.😭
He deserves an Oscar for that
Blitzø's mouth movement in the flashback said "Mom."

Well, that's one person Blitz managed to reconcile with. Now there's about half a dozen people left.

They went from being best friends to sworn enemies to best friends again.
No wonder barbie hates blitz she probably sees him as a murderer!
Yes and that’s why he created his company and stealing a book without stolas’s permission
That's also probably why she was in rehab, after what happened in the fire she maybe used drugs as a crutch, ending her in rehab.
I’m gonna go on a limb here and say that Blitz’s lousy father has something to do with this sad part of his and Fizz’s past.
well obviously, he praised Fizz more and if you look at Fizz's birthday card it says "wishing you were my son" which is a very shitty move
How so?

bro where tf is this theory coming from?! the whole pont of that backstory was that this was just a huge unfortunate circumstance
Oh shit it really looks like Blitzø was gonna give Fizz a love letter
What's done is done
I don’t know about that. I checked the Wikipedia and nothing says anything about them having a romantic relationship.
@@brissadlr9939 well maybe the Wikipedia page isn't updated yet. The letter clearly says "Fizz's eyes only" and there's a heart on it and also a flower in Blitzø's hand, so it all points to some romantic feelings

0:42 I like that concern look he does, it’s like he’s surprise Blitzo is crying and showing emotion.
And I just realised after the explosion Blitzo was in, he now has a white spot on his right side of the his face.
That’s some great detail right there.

I could actually feel the frustration of Blitzø,the way he still was unable to explain his emotions, that he was stuck inside an endless loop for his accidental sins. He did not mean to kill anyone, let alone destroying his own friend and his own mother.
He is an absolute misfit, hidden behind a mask of courage and pride, whilst he is nothing, but a broken, sad, unstable demon.

Its too bad spite doesnt get its own ring...
Man this show hits you hard with emotions. One second you’re laughing so hard that it hurts than the next you just cry feeling sorry for them.

I was just thinking or hoping for this too, seeing how the theme seems to be lately is growth and overcoming trauma, bettering relationships, first fizz then hopefully verosika then maybe end with his sister.
Fizz looked up to blitzø even tho everyone was telling him he was better,..... damn.
This broke my heart completely hearing Bliz saying he did care and I started crying when Bliz said what he lost in the fire. That's completely heartbreaking losing their mother.
Brandon is honestly underrated when it comes to more serious parts.
To be honest I would have probably committed suicide with that amount of guilt on my shoulders.
who knows, maybe Blitzø did try to commit suicide
"Glad you can admit it, want a metal?" The fact Fizz was ready to move past the issue despite everything. Like he held his hand out and everything
You know Blitzø is dead ass serious whenever he doesn’t curse
Hats off to Brandon and Alex for the amazing voice acting!!
He regret of hurting them and wished he could be brave enough to tell them that…
I just realized that Blitzø's white part of the face is a scar, and that Fizz's whole face is covered by another scar
Thank goodness for the clown nose.
this episode was so great and emotional. i was so happy to see Blitzø finally get a W and make up w/ his old childhood friend. their embrace at the end made me tear up and audibly go "Awwww~!!" i hope future episodes will show more interactions of their reforged friendship 🥹
“They told me YOU didn’t want to see me!!”
“I never said that!!”
“Bullshit, you didn’t?”
“No….and no one told me YOU came!!”
Both: “…..Ooooohhh….”
Cash is literally the worst.
This ep was damn emotional and especially that Stolas wants now to give Blitz an Asmodean crystals for his company so they can say goodbye
Oh i never thought of it like that. I wonder what will happen to their relationship once blitz has the crystal
Man, this is like the scene when Anakin burned while Obi Wan just walked away-
You were my Brother Fizzaroli I loved you
So maybe this is why he constantly pushes people away from him, even though he craves for their love.
He believes that he might not deserve any kind of love, both because of his father’s abuse and because he accidentally killed his mother and maimed his best friend.
He hurts people to avoid to being hurt by guilt, even if it would turn into a vicious cycle, a self fulfilling prophecy
To be fair, I won’t blame him if he might think so. Such trauma is no laughing matter
1:19
The way Fizz looks at Blitz says a lot.
Heck, I wholeheartedly believe that ridiculing Blitz in "Ozzie's" didn't give him as much pleasure as he thought it would.
this is one of my favourite scenes in the history of cinema. like dude the complete 180° they did in just a minute 😭
Bro, how had Brandon Rogers not been used for more voice acting, the way Blitz desperately explained to Fizz his side of the story.. u could feel it
So nobody is gonna talk about how AMAZING of a job Brandon and Alex did for the voice acting for fizz and blitzo?

Im guessing! Now that Fizz and Blitz have reconciled, Ozzie and Fizz may or may not be of help in patching up the wedge between Stolas and Blitz, since the Ozzie and Fizz seem to understand the two better
This could most likely explain why Barbie hates Blitz, became an addict and eventually went into rehab.

The voice acting was just so good they both did such an amazing job here, Alex and Brandon 👏🏽

Looks like the events of "OZZIE'S" really left their mark on Blitzo, if he's confronting his past hard enough to admit his own fault.
You know when Blitzø starts crying, something really bad happened. Also, did anyone notice he was holding a love note for Fizz?
Wow, these two actually went through a fucked up day on that day and when they mention that no one went to see him and when they told blitz he didn’t want to see him I wonder someone wanted them to get mad at each other someone plotted this what if there’s a character we don’t know yet that is trying to fucked up their lives and less it was just some misunderstanding or something like that😭😥😔🤔🃏
I bet it was Bucko (Blitzo's father) who started that mess.
Cash is my bet.
MAMMON! It must be Mammon! I don't know why but I'm sure it was him... And Cash too.
My favorite line 1:43
Better late than never. Blitz really needed to ammend his wrong actions by being honest.
Now, he saved his friendship with Fizz
Btw!
In 0:58 it shows blitzø having a card with a flower and saying "for fizz's eyes only" so they can mean blitzø had feelings for fizzarolli or it was just a birthday card
(You fizz x blitz shippers can imagine the love letter for other who think they are like brothers you can think of it as a birthday card)
Just wanted to point out that cute thing!
While it was sorta Blitz’s fault for slapping the cake, you gotta admit he still cared enough to try.
Yeah maybe lighting the candles... In a circus tent made highly flammable cloth... Before they actually get to the birthday boy... Not the best idea.
