Great vids mate originally from Paignton but live in the highlands now you fish all my old stomping grounds brings back loads of memories fishing is great up here though if you fancy a skate trip let me no 😊
Proper fishing...That was excellent stuff... Defo Rudd ,and roach ,but i thought they might have been roach/rudd hybrids...but either way, you caught a rare thing there.... Nature is something...always taking advantage of a free meal... Cracking fishing...
@@bassmansbountyfishing I bet there was loads of fish there waiting for those little ones... Some underwater camera work might have shown something... How do they know ? They must follow the fresh water smell maybe...
so is that the overflow from Slapton Ley? Nice video again Paul. How about one on thornbacks from Salcome/Kingsbridge estuary. Fished there many times and had nice thornbacks from Portlemouth to the lower reaches of Frogmore Creek.
you would of thought the lakes overflow wouldve had a mesh screen to stop the fish getiing pushed out to sea, anyways nice fish and cracking video as usual mate, keep up the good work
Good upload mate, I bet there was a big bass around there hammering them Rudd/Roach, they also can stay alive in salt water longer than you would expect just no food for them, Pike live up to 40 miles out in The Baltic Sea and grow huge feeding on herring there, I think it depends on the type of salt in the water or something? If you want your livebait to last long and keep lively get a little Aerator there great job,I Hope all went well for you, Tightlines mate 😎🐟🇪🇸
Baltic has the exact balance of salt and fresh water together at certain times I believe....it is a natural wonder I'd say... I have netted plaice in a lake over half mile inland in Essex once...Still scratching my head about that 25 years later lol...
interesting with the plaice in a lake lol,Oddly enough I fish two lakes when in uk that is mix of fresh water and salt ,they both have big pike, carp ,big perch ,odd big bass and huge shoal of Xl mullet,I’ve caught plaice on worms fishing for salmon about 10 miles up river before ,also bass 15 miles up into fresh water, mullet much more again ,definitely it’s something to do with the mix of fresh and salt water as you say. tightlines 😎🐟
@@darrenwillams3252 Marldon in Essex that was ...back in the 90s...we had roach ,rudd, small carp, eels and a stone of plaice lol...never seen it before or again... I was working for Framlingham fisheries at the time...and we were there to net a local angling club water....The plaice were hard to the bottom of the net under the eels lol...usually the eels are last out ... These were all keeper plaice too...bloke from club was scratching his head too lol..
Good luck with your operation, I'm sure you will be fine. P.s don't go drinking any of that energy drink while in hospital, the doctors won't know how to deal with that behaviour and singing 😂

Haha brilliant. One question tho, how did you rig the roach for casting
If you look on the video you can see one hooked lightly through the back mate in the big camo bucket😊👍🔥
Yes I saw that and wondered if casting would rip it out . I suppose a gentle flick is all you need
