It's a piece written for and tailor made for the piano, and it shows. A lot. Nonetheless, still a respectable arrangement and the playing is beautiful as well.
Chopin wrote this for his violinist girlfriend who found it too difficult to play and abandoned him. See 9:33. Chopin then played the whole thing himself.
Nah the violin adds more expression to it but the version of the anime shigatsu wa kimo no uso is better since the violin has its own melody so it won’t overshadow the piano one
