Losing Joel sent his brother Tommy on a path he hadnt been on since his early survival days with Joel at the start of the outbreak.
He tried the best he could to fight against going back in to the depths of his dark past. But he couldn’t let the pain go. And instead he unleashed it on the city of Seattle and everyone in his way, leaving behind everything and everyone he loved in the process.
The path of carnage was unconscionable, but necessary. While Ellie endured alot of pain with the acts she commited in Seattle in the name of revenge, it was Tommy’s initial onslaught that laid the path for Ellie.
We can get a glimpse of what Tommy’s 3 days in Seattle were like from No Return gameplay where you can play as Tommy and survive throughout Seattle against the WLF.
That’s the aim of this edit… to go through and dive deeper in to the mental and emotional journey Tommy went through. From the loss of his brother, to the act of not giving in to the dark journey of revenge, and then to finally acting upon his need for justice.
Once he felt Ellie’s pain first hand, he knew he couldn’t live with himself without knowing he did everything he could to ease the grief for her.
