For me personally, I like the attached lenses because not only does it look nice for photos, but it also would look more realistic even with the front seam crunched up. Plus, I think the faceshell could eventually become uncomfortable over time. I definitely agree with the Kung fu shoes though, and my definite go-to modifications are the forearm zippers and crotch zipper, the latter of which is especially convenient for us to use the bathroom. Another unexpected but good benefit from Herostime (where I’ve been getting my suits since 2020), is that when you add the shoes, you automatically get calf zippers. 👍🏻
@@PatrickLockyeryt hey great video I was wondering I forgot to add puff painting to my black Spider-Man suit do I just email them and they can add it or do I gotta redo the order?
Honestly the face shell looks the same with or without it. Ima prob go without so it is cheaper and more comic book accurate. But yeah I agree no soles
The problem with facials is that sometimes lenses will have one exception. For example, I wanted to pay shell that I could use the PS4 lenses on and the Raimi lenses on. But the Raimi lenses didn’t work on that face shell 😭😭
You've probably ordered from onehero before? I thought about new year's and decided the black and red suit from far from home is the coolest/cleanest of the Tom Holland movies, and so I ordered an unstitched one from onehero. It's been stuck in this waiting for acceptance status at some UPS facility for two days but at least it's in my city. Not sure I should trust the pictures with how the mask looks on the model's face- but I might not need a face shell? 🤷♂️It's my first real deal Spiderman suit apart from a few childhood Halloween costumes 🤞
Thanks for the help, pat! I'm tryna to work on getting a faceshell or making one outta foam I'm still thinking of getting the live action mark Bagley suit, although print costume doesn't have the size for me anymore (I had a size 12 for my wakanda spiderman suit and the shoes was somewhat tight ._.) so I'm probably gonna do no soles, but hey it saves money :)✨
do you happen to know if the $88 puff painting on printcostumes includes the spider emblems? Because they have the "screen print emblem" option and the "Raised spider emblems", but some suits like the Raimi suit only have the screen print option, but it does have the full puff paint option. Seems like the ones that don't have a puff paint option offer the raised emblem option, so Im assuming the puff painting includes the emblems? just wondering if you know off the top of your head.
I have a question I’m planning to get a pattern of the amazing Spider-Man 2 and link it to print costume I want it to look good but I don’t know how not to make it seem to lose color do i chose the color fabric?
I ordered a suit with custom measurements open eye holes a faceshell and lenses from heroestime in the comment section before I ordered the suit I told the company I need this before August 5th how long Does it take for a suit and faceshell to come in ?
I bought a suit without the u shape zipper and just went with the normal zipper just because I'm Double jointed and so it Doesn't matter to me if it's up and Down
@@derekdouglas6147 that's true I've seen the up and Down zipper in picture's of the suit on the website so I was like it looks Good either way I'll just buy it with the Default zipper next suit I buy I'll Go with the u shape though just so I can compare the two
I'm considering getting a suit but can't decide on the fabric. On print costumes it uses lycra/super lycra but on RPC Studio it uses spandex. What fabric do you recommend getting?
Cool video! Hey pat, if you find some time I have a question about the print costume site and the 50% discount, not too important. So I've written a review for a suit I had bought back from when the site was still zentai zone, and they've approved it, and yet even though I've sent them an email asking about the discount for my future purchase, a I've received no answer and it's been about 4 days, do you think I should wait more or try to contact them again? Thank you for your time!

too each their own for sure! and ive never had a faceshell bother me tbh
Excellent tips dude - I never wear a suit without a faceshell or kung fu shoes - I’d recommend people wear a dance belt too for tip number 4!
agreed!
awesome video! quick question: if I buy a detached mask and plan to wear a face shell under it do I need a mask zipper?
no youll be okay with nothing
I'd personally recommend a mask zipper tbh. It makes it a bit easier to insert the face shell in and put the mask on/take it off.
Get the mask zipper

you could always add your own magnets

the video wherei made a facehsell should help!
and itll still look amazing!
What about the colored and not colored lycra? Which one do you recommend?
The colours are definitely more vibrant on coloured fabrics but they do lose some of the details in the suits so it’s really up to your preference

The u shape zipper appeal has nothing to do with how easy it is, but everything to do with the fact that it doesn't slice the back of the suit in half

You don't need a faceshell.
You don’t need one correct, but it does make the shape better

I have like 100 suits from them, I’d disagree
