Thanks for the review, definitely some things i need to work on, this is more doomy than my regular music, i was just trying something new, always looking to improve =)
If I'm allowed to give feedback too, I'd try to give the guitars a more harsher high end to make them a bit more aggressive, but then again I just personally like really harsh guitars.
Oh and something I know can improve the song a lot, on the "chorus" like parts where you sped up or whatever don't be afraid to have more kicks in the drum beat and fills like a triplet fill would work really well even on the slow Doomy stuff even if the fill definitely would sound fast-ish for the song it would work and make it more grabbing I guess, so yes more experimentation on the drums I say is definitely something that is much more not necessarily "objective" but more preferable to improve the song overall.
I liked it a lot
43%?!?!??! That's ridiculous! Completely scamming the creator in my book! If I wanna send in any of my songs I'm definitely doing through Patreon then! Thanks for giving a heads up about that.
Melodic thrash doomcore
-atrmospheric-industrial
Melodic Death Doom?
Also, whisper screams are pretty cool when they are utilized creatively (such as the album Silence by Fester).
I find it pretty unique, and I’ve always liked whisper vocals, like Beherit or Demoncy or somethin.
I like the vocals too. I don't know about this particular artist, but not all of us (me in particular) can do screamy shouty vocals without a 10 minute coughing fit per line.
Whisper screaming always sounded ritualistic to me. I’ve learned some iteration of whisper screaming myself, since yeah I can’t really make convincing regular black metal screams.
i personally actually adore distorted whispering
not sure if it's screaming or "whispering" but it def has effects on it. still a cool sound in my book.
the vocals reminds me of early work of gehenna (norway) one of my fav BM bands love them because of the ''whispering'' kind of screams and keyboard/organ work
Awesome Music and awesome video! Love your stuff 😻
I'm a fan - whispering, mix and all, haha. But then I'm way more into doom than other subgenres.
I personally would label this blackened doom metal, kinda. There's also some kind of symphonic/industrial flair to it.
I was just zoned out and changing tabs when all of a sudden 7:20 happens I think my soul left my body
The music has a blackened doomy feel with somewhat having symphonic elements. The mix is a little iffy, but the song is still great with its mid-slow pace.
Vocals like Spell of Dark.
The signing reminds me of „Babalon so glad for the madness“ from Cradle of Filth „Damnation and a day“. Dani’s whispering somehow reminds me of the lyrics here. 😻
Slightly but I would think that Dani has a more diverse voice. But the vocals on this song’s vocals have a mononone whisper that sets me off. The song made me slightly uncomfortable if Dani put vocals on this he would range from low to high instantly
Industrial atmospheric blackened doomcore
Ok I don't like whispers but here they fit well. Especially with the music video.
Maby a mixture between whispers and growls would be better.
The whisper kinda remonds me of Portal
Very Otorrinolaringolus!
You know, this sounds like the kind of stuff I used to write in the beginning. Simple riffs, focusing more on a rhythmic groove, probably never leaving the first five or so frets, or limited to two or three strings. There is definitely a keyboard in it and I think he's doing exactly what I used to do. As in, have two guitars to the side, as you're supposed to, then have a synth in the middle, playing the same thing as the guitar. Which is a really good shortcut to a full, expansive sounding mix, don't get me wrong. But you gotta separate them at least occasionally, to make each part stand out. Vocals might not be whispered, but he might just not be super confident about his vocals yet, so he processed the shit out of them. Which is also something I used to do, though in my case it was too much reverb.
So yeah, I think this is someone's first attempts at making black metal. There is no defined style yet and he doesn't have the experience to play something concrete, so it ends up sounding like everything at once. Give him time and we'll see where he ends up.
I like the vocals
Personally, I like it...
most likely blackened doom metal the riffs sound sabbath-esque but the vocals and aesthetic are more black metal.
The riffing is pretty good, but that mix... I dunno🤨 maybe some Highs and Mids would have helped? The video is quite awesome actually. This is... Well, a unique one, so to say
I don't know what is this, but sounds really cool🤘🤤!!!Sounds like some sort of gothic...blackish doom or doomish black😂.
It’s like Symphonic Black Metal but slow. Idk if it’s Doom Metal but it’s for sure slow
Falkenbach vibes
Hey, maybe you would want to do a video on the "new wave of black metal" 2019-2022. And how there was an explosion of bm releases (see rym), esp raw and lofi bm, more than previous years and decades. Or maybe even a video on keller synth/tanzlecore.
Ah my favorite.. Symphonic Backdjentdoom
I would call this Symphonic Metal and maybe even Gothic, but that'd be a little bit of a stretch.
No one ever became a better artist from "hug & kiss" feedback. Just say what you think and don't appologize for it. They asked your opinion because they value it.
How can i get the background live picture? That’s amazing
It's generated in stable diffusion with lots of photoshop and video editing
Celtic frost
Sounds doom for me. 🤘😈
Please review NESBM!!!
Only 8-bit is real...
👾
xexyz!!!
Sounds like epic blackened doom.
Can you make another episode of the improve these bm riffs.
Reminds me of some songs of Ancient (norway).
This sound like Celtic frost/hellhammer/triptycon band when vocal trying singing like Thomas Gabriel Fischer.
I think i saw them on a festival this year, or last year maybe...
no this is just a solo project and i havent played live before
@@InfinityDsbm Oh sorry, then I was confused. But I like it!🤘🤗
@beaharzkauz9193 thanks I have over 20 songs and I got a new one coming out in a couple of weeks. My band is dawninsection and appreciate everyone who checks it out.
Well, the band channel is called InfinityDsbm, so I think it's supposed to be DSBM.
Yes, but it wasn't sad enough for me
Where can I get that awesome Hoodie? Thanks...
You can't. But all the Durbatuluk merch is either on bandcamp or Spreadshop. Links are in the video description.
To me it’s blackened industrial doom because it’s slow and muddy
The moment you spot the Gothic Church architecture or medieval you know it's a black metal, they strugled a lot with science lets take Galileo or Copernicus for example to explain scientific theories. After that finish of Renaissance follows period of movement, revolution and inovation ending with post modernism or contemporary art. So black metal is associeted a lot with the Dark Ages imagery sort of escaping in fantasy world of witches. But it can contrast modern technology life. Looks like they float over those themes and hense call it Oblivion or unclear state of mind. As if the inhabitant can't adjust to social changes. So he is forced to hide or present as mode of expression musically about environment.
This is clearly just one more track in neo-classical chroma key metal genre
Sounds like InfinityDsbm mixed death-doom metal with black metal. Too much reverb on the guitars that's why they sound muddy and mix with the keyboard support. The song is really cool but the mix improvement is necessary.
Check out new Polish history themed project called 1863!

Ok.
Idk
For me it sounds like... pretty fast death doom? With whispering vocals instead of growls. 😅Wow, you really did not like the song. xD
I hope he doesn't send assassins
@@Farvann No worries. Doom musicians don't send assassins. They build stone golems, bring them to life and send them on a journey to pursue and destroy you - and this may take a while. 😁

whispering metal
Blackened melodic dethcore
I dunno i like the vox.
