Just discovered you and your montage are perfect. Clean fast and clearly explained. Keep it up with the video but don't pressure yourself if your not feeling like it either! Edit: Also prefer your video over miniwargaming with their moving camera, that I really hate.
This one definitely went my way when it comes to dice rolls, but here are a few things I think he could have done differently as well: - Deploy the Shootas a little bit further away from the Gnawhole; you can't really plan on your opponent hitting a 12" charge, but at least make it as hard you can. If you're 15" away from the Gnawhole it means I can get a 9" charge, so just make it longer. - When he revealed the Fanatics, if he had spread them out a little more I wouldn't have been able to get outside of 3" even with the 12" charge. They also have 3" reach, so if he had deployed them deeper behind the Shootas I may not have been able to reach them with my 2" reach. - Keep the Gobbapalooza further back behind the Boingrotz to buff them and also make that Warbringer charge harder. The Rockguts sometimes have a hard time getting in where the Boingrotz can just shoot out and grab something, so they're a little better for buffing.
Love the video. This is awesome! My friends and I debate constantly about coherency rules and they say you can't have a horizontal conga line like your opponent has his shootas set up, not sure if this is the case or if anyone can help clarify any coherency stuff! Thanks!
The conga line is legal! For big squads you just need to have each model within 1" of two other models in the squad. So for something like Stabbas on a 25mm base, you can either keep the three on the end touching base to base to stay coherent, or just build a little triangle on the end to make sure that last guy is within 1" of two other models.
At 16:30 how could the Warbringer pile in after the PCBs killed the Gobbapalooza? Didn’t you willingly keep the Warbringer outside 3“ of the Boingrots?
Nice report, I hope this was a good learning experience for the Gitz player…seemed like a lot of mistakes to learn from. Only one way to get better though!
i really love those batreps ;) keep up the good work !! ;D Another thing, maybe u can help, i cannot decide what to pick, i switched 1 plaguepriest for Skappik and his Plaguepack, but what to bring? cannot fit a 2nd Reinforced unit of Plague Censer Bearers, i thougt about Plague Monks and maybe endless spell? whats your thoughts?
@@warpfireminis so, new battlescroll Update IS Here, inlost the Option to Bring plaguemonks now xD Now i kinda think about bringing 15 instead of 10 Pcb's or a 3. Unit of Clanrats either Option with an endless spells maybe Gemininds, your toughts? I have 170 Points to spend now
@@WollePaints I don't think Plague Monks are the move, a 60 block could do something, but still just too many points for the output. PCB's in 15 are a solid choice, but I'm playing around with options and will put up a Skaven video in the next few weeks! I really like Skabbik, so with some of the points drops I'm trying to sneak him in.
@@warpfireminis feel the Same about the Monks, but they are Out of the Question now, cuz of Points increase throu size increase, Like i Said i think about a 15man Block or a 3rd unit of clanrats
I thought fanatics didn't have to appear till you declared your charge, also can be put Infront of the Shootas with a 3 inch range keeping the Skaven out of range and still getting to fight first.
He chose to put them behind instead of in front to keep the charge roll as long as possible. The best outcome for him was that I just failed the charge altogether.
Gross Why did he put the fanatics behind and not infront of the shootas? You really wanna discourage the charge, that was the better play I feel like the Gitz player didn't really have a good plan. If the plague cencer bearers didn't have 10 models in the unit because they got shot and lost a few means they don't have 3" reach. you go into them with the bounders. Those 4+ mortals and then the additional rend and damage kills them even if you take a few casualties. You can bring the unit back, Skaven can't. Then the shootas can stay back and protect the shrine. There's way better tactics the Gitz player could have done.
This format for a battle report is the best to learn from an experienced player. I really appreciate it!
Yeh great format - very unique and interesting!
Glad you’re keeping this series going - been looking forward to the next one!
Best serie to learn how to play skaven and AoS on YT! You do amazing work, hope it will be with us for long time! The best wishes for 2024!

I just ordered some Skaven from you at the end of the year...we're doing Mordheim over here. Thanks for having awesome older inventory in stock!
Awesome! Thank you!
Let’s go Skragrott!
Great walk through! Seemed like a comfortable game for you, maybe he should have positioned differently at the start?

If a unit completes a charge that same turn they're still eligible to pile in, even if they're no longer in combat with another unit!
