I just wanna say that i think the script is very well-written. It all feels on point and natural and real in the kind of emotions one will feel, how one will react, in such a situation. And despite the miserable screen time given to this side story compared to the main, actually a lot has been ‘said’ (implied) and covered in terms of the emotions that they are battling inside. I think in not going further to feature any outrightly romantic LGBT scenes (already betting they wouldn’t, going by the country’s standards. This plot is already very radical, imo haha!) is where the beauty lies. Just like their friendship - sometimes it is just enough to know how much you mean to each other as friends, taking it to another level might eventually make things complicated and toxic because you’ll develop all these out-of-control emotions and negative behaviour. There is beauty in simplicity and distance!
