I've read this webtoon before the live action got released. I remember back then, I immediately feel the strong gay vibes between Yuna and Nari. But the gay plot won't ever happen bcz - "SOUTH KOREA". It seems like the author really wanted yuna and nari to be more than friends, but at the same time, afraid that his/her webtoon will receive backlash from Korean netizens. Sad that the author have to take that bff path for yuna and nari.

Well, Im just happy I experienced true love with her even though we broke up 6 years ago because her parents were really against us. She was almost disowned by her parents. Her relationship with her siblings also got ruined because they were against us too.. so I let her go. She suffered too much, i never wanted her to give up her own family just because of me.
Now she’s happily married and has her own child. Im happy for her tho... she got to keep her family, and her parents and siblings are now happy. Sometimes you have to give up for someone you know would be better off without you. In another life, I hope we meet again and our love will be accepted by everyone around us.

@@MultiOkasan thank you. knowing she’s happy now is enough for me. the moving on process was difficult and took me a long time, but all those years of pain were all worth it as I already accepted our fate with all my heart. Also migrating to another country helped me too.
I know it's not Canon-Canon but I like to think that when Nari said "Want to be my friend for life?" Yuna cried not only bc she's touched by Nari's sincerity but more because she realizes that no matter what, Nari will always see Yuna as her best friend, even though Yuna loves her more than that. But she cherishes their friendship so much and just says "Of course" bc she doesn't want to lose Nari, she's hiding her true feelings forever :'(

Nari was the only friend who cared about both yuna and yangmi , so yuna wanted to be the bigger person and give yangmi the chance to repair her friendship with nari. Yuna knew that if nari found out that it was her who crumpled up the letter, it would be the end of their friendship for ever.
It’s a really sweet thing for yuna to do, but I hate yangmi so much !! (Her name was miji in the WEBTOON I think)

lol i wanted to be her ultimate "best friend". i wanted her all to myself even though i definitely wasn't as possessive, i totally let her have other friends and never commented on that, but i always looked at them from afar with a jealous feeling...

They made the story like it's all about "friendship" but they made Yuna's character seem like obsessed and inlove with Nari. Getting jealous, not allowing her to date, willing to do anything for her even if she'll look like a silly just to please her, giving her the things she likes as if she's courting her.
Korean web drama producers did it again, added gay contents to play with people's minds. I think the purpose of this is to leave the rest to viewers imaginations what they actually think the plot seem like. Since homophobia is still strong in South Korea, i think they're trying to make a move little by little, so that same gender love stories in kdramas will be accepted someday.

They honestly did a great job picking the characters. Yuna's mom and dad looks expensive so is she. The kid who portrait yuna looks really like the adult yuna. Nari's friends suit their characters too. Also even tho' it's just 2hrs long it's worth to watch.
Except for Mirae. In the webtoon, she was portrayed as really cool and boyish girl. In this movie, she kinda looks stern and not as cool as the Mirae in the webtoon. She's so pretty though
