Hello @adamwrightjr Great question! I just posed this question today to the creator of the program, and he said it's planned for June of this year but the exact date is still to be determined.
Hello @Tunewurld Yes! I will be buying one for sure but perhaps not for the same reasons other people would...At this point, my interest in the latest Nord keyboards is all about making a course and doing videos to the support of the channel. Now that I have learned all the ins and outs over the last 6 years, I'd like to keep it going with the latest/greatest. If was playing more gigs today, I'd buy a Stage 4 if it allowed me to bring one less keyboard and do everything with a single board. That may be possible for some if it comes with the extra synth panel which looks to be what the picture indicates. We'll find out for sure tomorrow!
Could I still benefit from your course ( your Nord 6 D course not what’s mentioned in this video) when I removed the original factory Nord content from my Nord 6D and now have a third party content installed. I am starting with this collection of worship sounds from a worship collection. I am New to Nord and really don’t know too much on using all the buttons. So probably yes! 😅
Hello @Mary Ann Conklin Thanks for your question. Yes, I think you can still benefit from the course. We have dedicated lessons for the Nord Electro 6 and the Nord Sound Manager that I think will help make you a lot more comfortable about working with individual programs and setups. We also have full training on every other area and aspect of the Electro 6 as well - far more than anything here on UA-cam in my opinion.
Hello friend, do you have any ideia why nord mixed the flute and reed drawbars on vox continental? E3 and Stage 2 and C2D are the last models with the independent drawbars (Flute and reed / ~ and M)
Hello @Cameiro Torpedo - great question. This one would be a good question to ask on the "Nord User Forum" website. I do know that they are still using the C2D for all the latest Nord keyboards, so not sure why there would be a different assignment/implementation like this as you've described. 🤷🏻♂
@@MyKeysToMusic I can't add the link but if you go to the general forum you should be able to find my post. Other thing, what do you think about my perspective on Pipe organ engine "A reworking on Pipe organ engine: I think it's better to have only one pipe organ option but with configurable stops, I will explaine it better. With menu diving you could assign for example, to the 8' drawbar a principal 8' stop, and to the 4' drawbar a Diapason 8'. There should be possible to have diferent stops per manual (lower and upper) and per program."
@@cameirotorpedo5861 I just read your post: www.norduserforum.com/post163189.html?hilit=A%20reworking%20on%20Pipe%20organ%20engine:#p163189 I like your idea a lot. I was in conversation with someone a few years ago about a redesign of the pipe organ. The assumption Nord makes is that the sound they have is but one "popular" pipe organ sound, but the truth of the matter is that a real pipe organ has so many different stops most of which sound nothing like the pipe organ currently implemented. What he was saying is that if we are to imitate a "real" pipe organ, we need a whole new approach to how this is to be implemented including a bit of what you are saying in your post. I'm not sure if that is a priority for Nord, but it's something that traditional pipe organ players long for. Perhaps going the software route with a Pipe Organ VST is the ultimate answer for this in the long-run?
Hello Sr. is there any way to control konakt and cubase at the same time with nord stage 3? i will buy any video that helps me to do this, at this point Im desperate.
Hello @Elragnorok I assume you are trying to "layer" both pieces of software from the Nord Stage 3 all at the same time? Not to make this too simple of an answer, but isn't this just a matter of assigning both pieces of software to the same MIDI channel as you have for the Extern part of the NS3?
@@MyKeysToMusic the thing is , whenever my Nord is “hooked up” to cubase it blocks to any other app (kontakt ) so I have to close cubase to be able to control kontakt , please notice that my Nord is connected via USB and not MIDI.
@@Azfurita Hmm, it sounds like one application is blocking the other. So, I thought Kontakt is supposed to run as an embedded VST within Cubase. I think if you do it this way, you'll only be opening Cubase and then once in there, you'll access the Kontakt VST (plug-in) while there. I found this, which is something to read: forums.steinberg.net/t/kontakt-problem-solved/799474 Also found this, which feels related (This article explains how to route audio from each Instrument loaded in KONTAKT's Rack to separate channels of the Cubase mixer): support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210300745-How-to-Route-KONTAKT-to-Multiple-Outputs-in-Cubase Once you get Cubase loading Kontakt properly, then connect your Nord to Cubase and things should start working better. Be patient; this may take some additional hair-pulling. You on a Mac or Windows?
Hello @Daniel Lewis - Yes - I plan to have some content on this coming up. I'm debating the best way to approach this new board! I tell you, it has been interesting to see people's reactions. They are pretty polarizing and I'm a bit reluctant to get into the ring on this one!
I follow the syntorial course (via your affliate link). It is difficult to translate the knobs on syntorial to the Nord Stage 4. Maybe it’s a interesting via for you te make to describe the equivalent of some knobs to the nord stage knobs.
Hello @mediataal This is a terrific idea (to create a video to connect the synth used in that tutorial software with the actual NS4). However, This is something I would likely post in the upcoming NS4 course or on my Patreon page since this is advanced training, and I want the option to be able to replace the video when/if things change on the Syntorial side. I'll put some serious thought into this. My priority right now is to get the NS4 course complete, but I'm due for a new Syntorial video demonstrating the awesome 2.0 version after that.
@@mediataal I've got some potential good news for you. I have created a 25-minute video clearly explaining the Syntorial Software Synth and how that lines up with the Nord Stage 4 synth. I'm pleased with the way this video came out, so I'm going to include it in the actual course "Master the Nord Stage 4. Ahead of that, I'll add it as a video available on my paid Patreon account as well. Once that's posted on Patreon (this week), I'll reply back here with a link to it.
Hey Mark. You might mention that you can try it for free before you purchase.
Hi Eric! Yes, I should have mentioned that there is a free trial. I've pinned this comment to the top so people can see that easier.
Do you have an estimate for when the 2023 version will be released?
