Love seeing familiar! It's always been one of my pet cards that I always want to make work. I'll probably try a similar list with 4 and maybe 4 portable holes
Love this deck. I built a Pia deck in Explorer, Brawl, and Historic Brawl and they are all so fun to play. Another few cards I have tried in my Explorer deck are battles (particularly Gobakhan and Kaldheim, but any of them count as spells cast from exile when you flip them), Flameskull, Nahiri's Warcrafting, Robber of the Rich, Sword of Forge and Frontier, and Feldon. I am not suggesting any of those would make the deck more competitive; anything that you try to add means something else you would have to cut, and your deck runs a much lower curve which I think helps a lot for Abbot and Showdown, but they are more fun ideas to try for casual.
As I've said before, LOVE these videos. They get me through my lunch breaks. But... here's a question I've wondered about for a long time. In the advertisement at the beginning of this video, what is the word you're saying at the end of "Looking for magic cards or magic _______?" The closed captioning says you're saying "cards" again. But that wouldn't make sense. Neither would "harps" or "carps". And don't worry, I can usually understand every single word you say. It's just this one time that it's tricky for me.
It's an option, although without more Burns spells that go face it can be difficult to enable Spectactle. Especially when casting it second main phase we would miss out on all the Prowess triggers.
Have not played Arena for a longer time, but I think I remembered there is Bo3 right? Why anyone would play Bo1 - if they are not grinding or trying to executes some quests fast?
I've been playing a deck like this since Pia got printed, it was slept on for a while, glad to see it picking up some traction.
Abbot is the card that got me into magic, great to see it on the thumbnail
Always a treat. Thanks LegenVD!
I always love the decks that you showcase!
Luca doesn't actually condone stomping cats.
Don’t put words in his mouth
He will condone it, only if doing it provides a lot of value.
Isn't that what heartless act is, pretty much
Luka Magnotta does 😬
ive been running showdown of the skalds in my rw aggro decks and i'm glad to see others are coming around to it. it does a lot of work.

I was thinking about a shell for the Abbot, so thanks for the suggestion. Great video, as always!
I was thinking about Vega, the Watcher alongside Pia... might try that.

Yeah, great suggestions especially for Brawl!
Aw this deck is adorable and powerful! Love the good bois! Awesome job as usual Luca!!! Really appreciate you man
With how often you sorcery speed fiery impulse (game 1), strangle seems like it might be viable as a replacement
Much worse against greasefang
I imagine this could gain a new tool or two soon with adventures in the next Eldraine set 👀
Really like that giant killer on the deck.
Love the Giant Killer!

Its "magikarps". There's even a magikarp jumping when he says it.
He's saying "magikarps" which are a pokemon, he's making a play on words (using a similar sounding English word in place of another)
Yep, that explains it. I am almost entirely unfamiliar with the Pokémon franchise, other than what I learned on Super Smash Bros.
good stuff as always!
I love this deck but why not magmatic channeler? it's repeatable unlike abbot and it can become a pretty serious beater
Very fun deck 😊
Wondering a bit why no light up the stage but you are way better at deckbuilding than me. :)

It's difficult to make spectacle work in Pia decks as the only burn is play with fire
Great content as always. What do you think about homestead courage for this deck?
Could be decent, although tricky to cast and flash back in the same turn as it will require double white.
Can u do omnath locus of rage commander deck or omnath tribe.
I think in Eldraine was something similar and better than Abbott of kheral keep

Bo3 games are a bigger time commitment. Sideboarding can also be a little daunting for players that aren't familiar with every deck in the meta.
Because they're playing aggro and want to have a chance to win.
watched
*cheers in Chandra*
I've never been this early!
😂
Similar to EDH, I just don't think Phyrexia Arena is good enough in historic. Too slow.
