I don't get why Xiaomi is shipping Note 14 pro+ with Android 14 while Poco x7 pro is getting android 15 out of the box. That means the note will get one less android version. And also the specs in note 14 also seems inferior to the X7 pro probably except the camera.
That's because they need to follow the roadmap from the perspective of Chinese update. Note 14 series already release like 4-5 months ago, before Hyper OS 2 even released yet. While X7 Pro is based on Redmi Turbo 4 which release when Hyper OS 2 already release. Also funny enough, Redmi Note 14 4G got 4 years of OS Update and 6 Years of security patch. While the Pro and Pro+ got only 3 years major OS update and cmiiw 5 years security patch
nice to see you guys putting more effort into testing the camera. camera testing on videos started getting boring since you guys used same location everytime.
if im not wrong, photos are generally taken in that range of MP and there will be a mode where you can change it into 200MP. i don't think it does much except making tiny details more clear and reducing your storage

I don't mind if Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ that has the same camera set-up as the Chinese models globally. That 200MP main cam is worth the trade-off for the 50MP 65mm/2.5x telephoto camera. The battery life is lackluster. As expected even with the increase in mAh because of Xiaomi's HyperOS inefficient power usage.
They downgraded the features from the Chinese version. There was a dedicated telephoto lens. It's been replaced with the useless 2mpx macro. And no headphone jack. And it's more expensive.
What a disappointed for the battery life... 7s gen 3 is just underclock version from 7 gen 3 for GPU, it has to have better endurance battery life like its 'brother' but this SoC was just lacked by hyperOS 1.0 Hope redmi note 14 pro+ with hyperOS 2.0 has better endurance battery life, with gsmarena test it must be 14 to 15 hours, slightly better vivo V40 which had 16 hours tested by gsmarena
A curved display equals a piece of garbage for me: screen protectors always get f**d up, so I have to replaced them too often. So, thanks but no thanks

It a disappointment the usage time on battery even by shut down most program. It can drop 40 percent over 6 hours. Mine first n last time. Even wrote in to service never heard from them. What is the use been able to charge up fast.
