This was my first attempt and it took me 6 days to get it right, the mig21 is not an easy aircraft to fly inverted under the bridge especially at those speeds with boosters on (no flight control unlike the m200c ;) ). I hate to admit it but I'm hesitant about committing to such a thing, were it not for the competition, I wouldn't have made it this good.

So was the acceleration with the JATO bottles enough to actually throw off their aim?

I'm not so sure. The plane did eat a lot of bullets, but at those speeds (~1300kmph under the bridge) the boosters didn't add much to the aircraft's velocity. I used the boosters as they would complicate the flight even more by adding torque to the aircrafts' pitch (the nose dips down with those things on at level flight) making the inverted flight under the bridge an even more difficult stunt to achieve. I had hoped that it would be enough to get a full 10/10 in the skills department.
Pity only one person (from the panel of judges) noticed the boosters engaged in the video.
