Furthermore, the Gonzales Observatory (shown) is not within the city limits of Victoria proper, it's in the District of Oak Bay (a municipal suburb of greater Victoria). [Edit] Correction, the observatory building itself _is_ inside Victoria city limits (barely 10 m inside). The seaward face of the hill it sits upon _is_ in Oak Bay.
@@calebpoulter8644 It's a small hamlet with a pulp mill nearby next to the Kootenay River between about mid-way between Fort Steele and Canal Flats. There's also _Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park_ at the north end of Sechelt Inlet near the entrance to the fjord off Jervis Inlet.
