I know what you are talking about. I'm 70 this year and I had tinnitus all my life. I thought it was normal and like this for everyone. Only when I was around 40 I discovered it was NOT normal. So I'm pretty used to it, except that now in my older years it's gradually getting worse. My hearing has been a problem all my life and that is get worse too.
But the worst is that I have Tuba Aperta, only found that out very recently!!!!
And this thing is ruining my life right now.
Let me explain: all my life, the eardrums of both my ears constantly pop. It's that popping that 'normal' people experience when they are flying and reaching a certain height to which their ears have to adjust. Guess what: my eardrums have been doing that all my life too and that is supposedly a symptom of Tuba Aperta (constant open Eustachian tube). It has always been easy to reset and control to a tolerable level. Until a couple of years ago.Old age I suppose.
To make the story short now: tuba aperta is pretty unknown and all therapies are experimental. But the constant popping of my eardrums aggravates the tinnitus and then my head is ONE BIG CHAOS. It's driving me crazy.
I had the first surgery a month ago: cartilage is put behind the eardrum to keep it in its place.
Operation no success, symptoms worse. So I revisited the specialist, explained and told him there will have to be one more and final surgery: complete elimination of the right ear! (that's that villain ear) I will not be hearing anything with my right ear, but the hearing now is already close to nothing. I am done with it and gladly give up that darned pest ear!
So now I'm just waiting for the exact date of that operation, hopefully in August.

Unbelievable Barbara is absolutely right. Suffered with tinnitus and dizziness as a child through to adulthood. All the ENTs had no clue. Wanted me to live on antihistamine and antibiotics. Due to further issues a complimentary medicine doctor to me to cut out those foods and the aching bones, tiredness etc disappeared .It comeback when i use again. Now realise the histamine in foods is the cause. Still figuring it out after 60 yrs

I had a broken tooth 5 years ago that my dentist tried to save. I think it leaked, was permanently unusable and infected, and I couldn't chew on it. After 2 years I developed actinoimycosis and almost died. The bacteria have spread from the tooth to the cervical area and the back of the torax. The doctors didn't immediately know what was going on at the time. But before the infection became fulminant, I developed tinnitus. But I thought it was stress. To everyone who has tinnitus: always have your dental appliance checked by a good dentist, remove all dead teeth from your mouth, remove anything that is amalgam and also remove anything that is metal. For me, everything is slowly healing, tinnitus is slowly disappearing... All the best for everyone!

I got tinnitus after a dentist numbing injection. My throat that night got very swollen and painful. While it eventually - after few days got normalized, my tinnitus never went away. The dentist said it has nothing to do with the shot, but I did my research and found out that I am not the only one who got tinnitus after a dentist procedure. Other people report getting tinnitus after surgery waking up from a full body anesthesia that also never went away. Medical literature suggest that it may not be the damage just to the ear - but a neurological damage to the hearing center in the brain. I believe that is the reason why I had not found any testimony of someone who truly reversed tinnitus.

I have heard that when Radio Signals were introduced back in the day, then people started to have ringing in the ears. WIFI frequencies are everywhere these days and I believe this is causing ringing in the ears. Each day that comes my ears ring at different levels. I don't even think about it, until someone mentions it to me or I am around nothing making noises, then I hear ringing in my ears. I am looking forward to being in Heaven with my new immortal body and no ringing in the ears.

I don't have tinnitus. I'm going to try a combination of turmeric (1 teaspoon), black pepper (1/8 teaspoon), ginger (1/8 teaspoon), cyane pepper (1/4), magnesium, and omega 3 (300mg). Take half an hour before lunch. You have to try out the dose. It's possible that you don't tolerate some of them and then have to stop taking them.

This may be the case with some people. I’ve had sinus surgery to get better drainage. No effect on my debilitating tinnitus. I was on a carnivore diet for four months. No change whatsoever. Diet, mucous, drugs, have zero effect. Damaged nerves in the brain is more than likely the cause. All the doctors have said I just have to live with it. I can understand why suicide is higher with debilitating tinnitus. It’s maddeningly loud 24/7.

I was in a car wreck at 3 years old and shattered the lens of my left eye when a long radio knob met my flying little head. I kept my eye, but was bothered by awful migraines, nosebleeds and awful tinnitis. The migraines stopped at 17, possibly because my shattered eye was done growing. The tinnitus is still with me. Nothing has ever helped even a little bit. I have been dealing with tinnitis for 54 years. I taught myself to focus on other things than the ringing sound. I used to use aspirin occasionally and it made the tinnitus much louder. 😅

It can actually have to do with an infection in the brain or damage to the brain. I had it so severely after getting a bad tick bite that had diseases which went to my brain. There was so much swelling and inflammation in my brain that one time I can remember hearing up to very different and loud sounds. None of this was on the outside of my ears. There are viruses that specifically target the brain and cause all kinds of problems including tinnitus.

Walk barefoot on the ground and it goes away. Stay away from router and unplug it frequently. Plan to hard wire w Ethernet cable to mitigate.

When I had 4 years a brumming Tinnitus caused by WiFi I could hear the WiFi. By coincidence a friend programmer for Telekom Germany who programme's WiFi I asked him: why is WiFi sending out every 5 seconds a signal for nearby devices if there are none there? Shouldn't it be the device asking for a WiFi and then the later answering? He said: That is how it is programmed. 1) He never asked me how I knew its 5 sec intervals, he never asked why I can feel his mobile phone 10 cm behind me without looking. Stupid career programmers assuming that Microvaves with 2,4 GHz (that's 2,4 Billion Herz frequency) is harmless 🤣 so st**d f**ks!

I’ve had mine since an accident in 2019. I fell mt biking and had ACL surgery. Ended up with a bulged disc in my neck and tenitis a month after surgery. It was hard for me to pinpoint the cause with so much going on. Anesthesia? Neck injury? Covid? Age? Sugar? Ah my daughter picked up baking in the pandemic. Could be so many things.

So many medications can cause tinnitus and still a lot of people don't know about it. I did my research because I suffer from it, and I found that a lot of blood pressure medications and some heart medications like betablockers also causes tinnitus. I am taking Lisinopril, and Metoprolol and both of them are on the list of medications that cause tinnitus. You will be surprise on how many OTC medications can cause it, like ibuprofen, Tylenol, etc. I suggest every body to google the medications you are taking on a daily basis and see if they cause the ringing in the ears. Maybe it can be change to another medication.

Also Candida albicans oraly. Went to over 4 ENT specialists saying that it cant be because of WiFi or even Candida albicans ...😂 useless doctors told me to visit a Psyciatrist as they thought I am crazy. Took me 6 years to cure it by food change, exercise and energetical healings. Still have problems with ear infections due to ear pods and Candida which I now fight back with herbs but ultimately have to stop coffee!

I have tinnitus since 1988; i managed them; but since last year PST get them worse; never be stressed, its very bad for tinnitus, and sleep well (i know its easy to say it, but not easy to do when insomnia an stress enter in the house). Loud sounds are very dangerous also. I dont think that food can get them worse or better. For me, with my experience with tinnitus, the most dangerous are loud noise (cause of hearing loss and sometimes or often tinnitus), chronic stress, anxiety, and aspirin, certain ototoxic medications.

You have to try out the dosage. It's possible that you don't tolerate some of them and then you have to stop taking them. Try it for at least a year.

Tinnitus is from damaging of the audio center of the brain. Ears get damaged from loud noise and can’t repair easily, then the brain tries to correct it and can’t properly fill in the lost frequencies and is confused. It takes a few years for the brain to figure it out, but it’s gotten better for me. 2 years in and most of the time I don’t hear ringing at all. Maybe in another 2 years I won’t ever hear it.
I don’t think herbs are going to do too much here, I would recommend a japanese diet, it’s worked for me. The brain needs animal fats to build and stem cells to repair the ears. Salmon and matcha tea are massively powerful for this 🧠. Salmon has the fats and matcha activates stem cell production.

I don't have tinnitus, I mean not right now, I have had it before in the past like when I was a kid but haven't had any problems with it in years. I have had plenty of ear infections and suddenly in just the past year, I have had 2 ear infections, and just several months apart. I also have been having problems with hard crusty phlegm coming from my sinus, I can actually feel it unlodging into the back of my throat and I have to hurry up and spit it out. It used to be pretty green but in recent weeks it is getting lighter and lighter but now I am seeing what looks like to be pink, maybe blood, I don't know. I tried telling a nurse practitioner about it but they didn't test of swab or anything, just gave me a steroid shot and antibiotics. It helped a bit but it came back, and now I am trying a more holistic approach, so even though the goldenseal you say is good for tinnitus, it sounds like it could help with anything dealing with the sinus. So, I am going to try it. I hope this works. It doesn't sound like it could harm anything, if it is natural and beneficial.

I have an area in my gums way up above the left frontal teeth. It gets very sore, and it began during and after I had some sinus issues, from which I got a small clot of blood, when blowing my nose. The dentist took an exray, which I rarely allow, and he found infection, and ordered an antibiotic, which I also DON'T like. The issue went away, but returned, and I told the dentist, I thought it was because of the sinus issue. He disagreed. I have the issue AGAIN, and I rub the gums with Hydrogen Peroxide 3%, and massage the gums...the pain is again subsiding, but I have slight sinus issues, and wonder if I shouldn't add water to my apnea machine. I normally only use the water in winter, as my home is very insulated, and creates its own moisture. Any tips would be greatly appreciatd.
